Great spot for a holiday retreat

Wedding Party Fun

Everything you could want to keep kids entertained, a pool, video games, basketball area, trampoline, pool table, televisions everywhere, and for the adults, grills (multiple), a front porch swing, walk in showers, camp fires, and plenty of space. Awesome location and close to the city where we enjoyed great entertainment and amazing food (Bite Me BBQ & Doo-Dah Grill. We loved Kansas.

Peaceful country setting
Publié le 23 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property setting is definitely rural country, remote and private. The interior of the house is quite large and can accommodate groups. The home was clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the outdoors grilling on the weber gas grill and our day visitors played basketball and used the trampoline. We brought our own lawn chairs which were more comfortable than their outdoor seating. Overall our group was very pleased with their stay.

Big & Dirty

Muddy boots at the front door—muddy boots at the garage door. Greasy Sticky finger prints all over the walls and doors. Half of the garage filled with old furniture. Old water heater, rusted out root cellar, and metal debris made for a worry when young children outside. A great space for entertainment but not attention to detail. No firewood for the fireplace. Bedding smelled of body odor. We spent tge first 3 hours cleaning and doing laundry before our guest arrived after spending the better part of a day driving to get there. It was ironic that I was charged a cleaning fee. Too bad the owner does not take more pride in the property. Given the daily rates—I was very disappointed.

Thanksgiving reunion

Excellent country setting with luxurious accommodations
