Cons: -They were doing construction above our rooms during our entire stay so we were awakened every morning with the loudest drilling noises as early as 730am that lasted for hours. -The drinks were heavily watered down. No top shelf choices at all -The front desk ladies seemed like they did not want to be bothered. They would keep their heads down most of the time even when people would walk up to the desk for help. -The partial ocean view was pretty much non existent. The ocean was so far away, I wouldn't recommend getting that room at all because all we really saw was a parking lot and construction machinery. -The main pool was too deep to just chill in. You had to be almost 6 feet tall to stand in it. -The waitstaff in the buffet area barely wanted to get you drinks and barely took the old plates from your table and would let them just pile up. We travel the Carribean alot and this resort was very low when it comes to excellent customer service. I would like to give a shout out to Timo who works at the front desk. He was amazing along with the guy that brought us the welcome drink and keeps up with the luggage (I forgot his name. The pros: Beautiful resort and pretty good food. The room was also nice and spacious. Just make sure you don't get a room where they are still doing construction at. It was daily torture. You would think they are about to fall through the ceiling.

The property was clean. The food was pretty good. No activities were going on. All the drinks seemed to be watered down.The staff was very lazy compared to other resorts I have stayed in. They were not helpful at all. We had to almost beg for someone to check us in. Three employees at the counter...two of them were talking and only one working. We approached one of the employees and asked if she could check us in. She said "no" but didn’t appear to be busy. We went to the other one and she said ok. Prior to approaching them we had been standing there for a least 10 - 15 minutes. No wait staff by the pool to bring you drinks. Employees working in the restaurant barely came to the table to see if we wanted dtinks. When they did come to the table, the looks on their faces made you not want to ask for anything. I guess we were bothering them. Could not get face towels the whole time we were there. The pool closed at 7pm. No jacuzzi. I would not rate this resort as a 4 star...maybe 3.5. Not sure if they were short staffed or not. But when you are paying decent money for a vacation you would like to have a nice time. If I visited curacao again I would not stay at The Rif.

I have never been to an all inclusive and I wouldnt again. If you go to this one and stay there the whole time you are missing out on Curaçao. The beach area is the worst I have been to on the island, I didnt bother swimming. The food was very average and the island has so many amazing restaurants. We were woken at 7:20am by rennovation works. The staff we interacted with were lovely but some of the hotel guests were just so loud and had obviously been making good use of the free bar. All in all disappointing for a Hilton hotel.

Great Hotel
This was my second time at the Rif. The room was nice and comfortable. The pool was very nice as well. For an all inclusive I thought the food was very good. The bars had name brand alcohol. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again!

Ao chegar ao hotel, fomos acomodados em um quarto com a parede completamente úmida. Informamos a recepção, mas fomos tratados com descaso; o atendente disse que era um problema comum devido ao ar condicionado e que a manutenção cuidaria disso. Como estávamos em lua de mel, fomos aproveitar a piscina, mas, ao retornar, nada havia sido feito. Após nova reclamação e muita insistência, finalmente nos trocaram de quarto. Esse episódio reflete a falta de cordialidade da equipe do hotel. Superado esse inconveniente, a estádia foi razoável. Os pratos servidos pelos restaurantes a la carte são gostosos e o buffet possui vasta variedade com qualidade razoável para o volume a ser servido. Já os drinks alcoólicos não possuem um padrão de qualidade, e o sabor varia muito para o mesmo drink; alguns eram praticamente impossíveis de beber, evidenciando a necessidade de maior treinamento dos atendentes.

Service at this resort is lacking tremendously and staff is not very friendly. I have been to many all inclusive resorts and this was the worst yet. No one says good morning. At the buffet no one comes around to offer you drinks. It’s pretty much self service. Around the pool and beach there are no waiters to bring you drinks so you have to continue getting up. There is NO SWIM UP BAR. Also, they are doing construction at the hotel so you might get woken up by some drilling and saws. Beach is a man made beach. Very clean but not natural. My stay was from 8/10/24 to 8/14/24.

The service at this hotel is simply awful
The service at this hotel is simply awful. 99% of the staff are always unfriendly and in a bad mood, with no sympathy or willingness to help. The room cleaning is unbelievably poor. They don’t even replace the used glass cups. They don’t vacuum the floor. They don’t restock the minibar, and only through restocking you can get bottled water in the room. Room service orders are either not delivered or arrive with delays. The elevators are constantly out of order. The information is incorrect, even in the app you use to place orders (e.g., a Japanese restaurant that requires a reservation, yet the app explicitly states that it doesn’t). The buffet service is just a huge, chaotic mess of people. It’s overcrowded. The beer, even in the various bars, is always warm. There’s a shortage of glasses, food takes a long time to be replenished, there’s no ice, the restaurant’s exhaust fan doesn’t work, and the place fills up with smoke. On top of everything, they even charge you to use cabanas on the beach. The positive points are: the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The private beach is pleasant. The water park is also nice for kids. And the food, despite all the chaos, is good

Esse hotel fica no complexo do mangroove. É mals novo, os restaurantes são melhores, mas parece que falta staff suficiente para atender aos dois hotéis, deixando a limpeza das áreas comuns e o atendimento e reposição do restaurante a desejar, apesar da boa vontade dos atendentes. Tem uma piscina muito boa e a localização é ótima. A praia tb é boa.
