Great stay!

This was a perfect weekend stop on our way to Chicago from Minneapolis! The cabin is exactly as described. Contrary to other reviews, we found the beds to be comfortable and the tv worked just fine. We enjoyed walking to the Williams Bay beach area and it's a quick drive or uber to the Lake Geneva hot spots. We would stay here again!

Didn’t realize it was a motel
Posted Jul. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayFixtures missing bulbs, cars in and out of the lot. One of the toilet handles was discombobulated. One tiny garbage can for the whole unit. Tv didn’t change channels any randomly turned on in the middle of the night. Beds were very stiff. We made friends with the spiders in the corner. Other than that, it wasn’t very far from a lot of activities and some good food. If I had to do it again I would stay somewhere else

Thanks for the three Stars Daniell. Yes, local ordinances require us to list the property as a Hotel or Motel to be a Lodging Facility. We put accurate photos on the site , hoping you look at those prior to booking. We have less bulbs because other quests said it was too bright. There is a large garbage can under the Microwave area, we will put in a better place for you to use. Mattresses are new, and most people asked for a firmer Mattress .Will admit, T.V. remote can be a little difficult to use. Sorry about the spiders, we are in a wooded area, and do our best to keep those spiders out. Jim

Just what we needed
Posted Oct. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayWe were in the area for a wedding and need a place that allowed our large dog. Jim was very easy to communicate with and provided us with everything we needed. The space was perfect for us and our big buddy. He loved walking the property and getting to sniff everything. I appreciated the large bed and dual bathrooms so both my husband and I could get ready when we needed to.

Girls weekend

No frills but clean.
Posted Aug. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayJim was timely and responsive. Beds are comfy and cabin clean. This cabin is as it reads- for sleeping. If you want to cook and gather a group- choose another cabin. It would be nice if the property had some landscaping and a dedicated outdoor spot/patio for small groups.

This property was great for overflow at our home.
Posted Jul. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayWe invited too many people to our home over the 4th. We rented this cabin for the overflow. It was perfect. Four adults stayed in it comfortably. They mainly used it for sleeping and showering. They appreciated the two bathrooms. Will do this again in the future as it was affordable.

Just wish...
Posted Jun. 12, 2023 on HomeAwayThe host was wonderful and property was in a good location but be aware that 2/3 the beds were quite uncomfortable 😬. Be prepared. Knowing these matresses are only a step or two above the comfort of cardboard. Basic low end pillows and minimal bed linen.
Floor has some issues, where "panels are not welll supported and you may just get the bottom of your foot pinched between slats, if you dont watch where you step if in socks/ barefoot.
Do remember to bring your own "kitchen" supplies. There are only coffee filters,(No coffee) no toweling. Pleanty of quality towels

Thanks Peg for the FOUR STAR Review! We describe this one as our Sleeping Cabin with a very small kitchen area not conducive for heavy Cooking like our other listings. There are new floors in the bathroom areas, and wood floors in this Cabin. We may replace those, but they are very well taken care of, and all natural. There are no slats to get your toe caught (Thats kinda Funny!!). We have good quality beds in all our Cabins. So, when Peg arrived, she brought several more people that she not liston the reservation. I told her it would be tight space wise with the additional people. And I must say, they were fairly Large people to be sleeping on those beds.! Anyways, they were nice people who told me they enjoyed their stay! Jim
