Off the beaten path, close to Grand canyon
Publié le 19 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOwner was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. Made us feel welcomed.
House is off a dirt road and in a gated community. Scenery was beautiful and in the trees. Peaceful and relaxing.
House was expansive, plenty of room for our family to be comfortable. Kids room was separated from master and common area, giving them independence.
Kitchen was well stocked with every gadget including a French press and blender.
Water is trucked in so we were nervous about using too much water. Made the house feel more like a camping cabin.
There were plenty of games and puzzles to keep kids off electronics.
Everything went great. Couldn't have asked for anything different other than the description said there was a hot tub and there definitely is not a hot tub.

Hi Shelley
Thank you for your kind review. Regarding your comment about a hot tub, our listing says that we have a jetted bathtub, which is in the master bathroom. Evidently, the VRBO listing translated that as a hot tub. Apologies for the confusion. Hopefully you enjoyed the jetted tub in the master bathroom.
Glad you enjoyed your stay overall, and hope you can visit again 😊

Enjoyed the little town of Williams, the Grand Canyon and Sedona!
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family had a great week together exploring the natural beauty of the area. We also fell in love with the town of Williams. The house was set up perfectly for our group. The only issue being with the heat, the central AC didn’t cool off the studio above the garage. A window unit would be helpful.

Hi Christine
Thank you for your review, and we're glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit in Williams.
We'll look into why the upstairs studio room didnt cool down for you as much as the rest of the house. It is likely that servicing the HVAC unit will do the trick, and we can also add a split unit as well.
We hope that you are able to visit again in the future.

Fantastic View
Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved this rental and highly recommend it. The home was spacious, clean, and full of extras (puzzles, books, movies, games). The deck gives amazing views for sunset dinners. The fire pit was great for the cold nights. We were even visited by the local cows, which was fantastic. There were 10 family members on our vacation. The home provided plenty of space for us to spread out. Lastly, the communication with the owners was fantastic. They were very responsive when we had questions. We absolutely LOVED this place!!

Comfortable and Charming
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe antique decor, lighting, and fixtures gave this home a uniquely Western feel. The hosts provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home is well maintained and immaculate. We enjoyed eating dinner on the expansive back deck overlooking a breathtaking view. While 45 minutes from the Grand Canyon entrance, we felt that the home was very accessible and a tremendous value relative to on-park and Tusayan lodging options. With two college-age children, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy privacy, then come together for family meals, movie nights, or to play one of the many games the hosts provided. Such a warm and inviting place made a wonderful base for our family's Grand Canyon experience.

Delightful Property and Hosts
Publié le 2 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayBeyond expectations!! This is a great place for people who want to 'get away from it all.' It is far out of town, very comfortable with lovely scenery and the best-ever hosts. They are thoughtful and kind people and super responsive. We found everything to be 'as advertised' We had some minor requests which Loran and Dana took care of in record time. We use VRBO a lot and I would say they are by far the best hosts we've had and we have enjoyed the hospitality of some good ones. My family loved the house and we felt very much at home there. We had a marvellous time over Thanksgiving and would love to return.

Plenty of room for large family
Publié le 29 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe choose this home for its proximity to the Grand Canyon and Sedona and because we needed 4 bedrooms with minimal stairs. The beds in the upstairs bedroom and the twin room downstairs were really uncomfortable so much that my son chose to sleep on the couch, while the beds in the other two rooms were fine. There was a lot of dust in the home and tall weeds in the driveway and fire pit area. The deck is great and we enjoyed stargazing from it. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The master bath is great, but with signs everywhere telling you to conserve water that is trucked in it made me feel like I couldn’t take a nice long shower. We enjoyed Williams’ restaurants and shopping. It’s a great little town with the Route 66 vibe.
