So beautiful and quiet. Staff was so polite and ready to help ! Fire pits and fire wood outside. Also beach access! So beautiful. Plus two farms to shop for fresh goodies right across the road.

Hidden Gem of Elk Rapids
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HotelsEverything went great; check in was super quick and easy, as was check out. Brand new beds were SO comfy, and the remodel of the rooms is quite lovely. Everything was very clean, neat and tidy. The sitting area outside with fire pit was great to hang out at, and enjoy a quiet evening with our family and friends.
Elk Rapids is 2 miles away, and the lake is a 10-minute walk directly behind the resort. The only issue we experienced was the mini fridge developed a leak, and there was no ice available onsite. An ice maker would be an awesome addition for an even more hospitable stay.

Generally, we look for a franchise stay. But I have to say we were so impressed with this quaint little motel. Very friendly staff. Very clean. We slept better here than we had slept 2 nights prior. 1 option made that possible, a regular blanket!! :-) Something regular hotels/ motels don’t offer. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!!!!

Clean room! It looks like the motel was recently renovated! Very charming! The only thing we didn't like was the water in the shower and the bathroom sink, which had a strong iron/metal smell and taste.
