For the price it was fine. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The rooms could use updating. Carpet in the room was stained and outdated. The staff was excellent, very accommodating. The location was great and easy for us to get to the places we wanted to go.

We usually stay at the Hampton Inn but there wasn’t a room there during our trip. We don’t spend a lot of time in the room so we don’t need a fancy place to stay, however this hotel was not good. It reaped of cigarette smoke as you came in and the staff was unprofessional. The heater made a noise all day and the toilet would not stop running if the handle wasn’t adjusted. The carpet was old and stained and the phone call we tried to make to the front desk for more towels went unanswered so we had to go down.

This hotel probably use to be grand in its prime. The lobby and cafe and lounge areas were beautiful esp decorated for Christmas. The indoor pool was decent our 6 year old loved it. We stayed on the 4 th floor. The rooms were large and had a nice balcony, clean. Def a 1990’s stay are your grandmothers vibe. Decor and style a little outdated but our room was decent and I would stay there again. The breakfast was good too: eggs (boiled and scrambled) biscuit and gravy, bagel & toast, cereal, juices, coffee, milk, waffles. Someone should def invest to revitalize this hotel and it would be amazing!!!

We have stayed at this property before and know this stay was off so I don’t want to bash this stay or anything. The location is very close to Busch Gardens and Staff are usually very pleasant. Our room was dated and terrible this time around however. I think it was a pet friendly room because it smelled a bit and furniture was all scratched up with stained carpet. The bathtub didn’t drain and the ceiling was really peeling and a bit gross feeling. My kids wouldn’t sit on the toilet seat because it was peeling and grossed them out. We thought about asking to change rooms but the kids were tired and didn’t care as much. It was bedbug free so that was all we cared about for a brief stay. The more concerning thing was the lack of lights in the parking lot. They are broken and honestly I drove right by the hotel arriving after dark and I knew where it was from prior visits. There were no lights on outside and it looked like an abandoned property. It felt a little unsafe and eerie. I would have liked to have had a heads up on that prior to arrival. I would have brought a flashlight to help unload the car at least. The movies in the lobby are nice and the fire pit table in the back was also nice.

My family has stayed at this hotel before and it was okay. Its older and needs some updates and renovations. The breakfast area had plenty of options and the staff kept everything full and clean. The staff was very nice.

Would stay here again

Service was great. We came in super late after a long day at Busch gardens. Plenty of parking. Check in was easy and the employee at the front was kind and personable. Room was spotlessly clean although was old and in need of maintenance and repair. The carpet had duct tape on it. There were peels and long cracks in the paint, obvious water damage. The toilet seat was old and the plastic was flaking off of it. Some of the pillows were stained. However like I mentioned the room was very clean. No evidence of bugs or hair or dust. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. We appreciated the free breakfast and utilized the indoor pool and hot tub. There was much mildew along the pool deck. I think this hotel needs some rehabbing but the employees have done a good job keeping what they have clean and sanitized. I would stay here again, happily. The price was right and we felt safe.
