The building is definitely dated and needs some upgrades. Especially in the bed department. We were in the King Suite thinking it would be an upgraded or at lease decently comfortable bed, however it felt like we were sleeping on a broken boxspring. It had the softness of the floor (to the point, we debated on buying a memory foam topper for the remainder of our stay but did not want to have to haul it back home so we did not). One elevator was out of service but they had that resolved by the second day of our stay. Breakfast was satisfying - much better than other 'free with stay' hotels in the area. Staff was incredibly nice and very professional. Would not stay again only because of the discomfort of the bed.

The room was very clean and bed comfortable. It was a little outdated but they are renovating floor by floor so we expect it will be quite up to date the next time we visit Williamsburg. The hotel staff were very friendly - we especially appreciated Mr. Bo in the dining area and Tasha at the front desk.

Room was hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. Water leaks marks on outfacing walls of the room. Tub faucet was about to fall off, water temperature was not consistent. Took forever to heat up then you didn’t have long before it ran out. The outside lighting to the sidewalk, side door was off.

The main hallway on our floor was very cold. We assume the heaters weren’t working. The room was nice although the bathroom tile needed to be replaced due to tile cracking and grouting issues. Overall we were pleased with our stay.
