Our stay was amazing. The condo was immaculate, the kitchen was well stocked and the Riverview was outstanding.

Relaxing Visit

We decided to stay here, so we could enjoy activities in Yorktown and Williamsburg. Although we were away much of the time, it was a comfortable place to return to. Just a few thoughts: please put a brighter overhead light in the kitchen area. The hand soap dispenser in the kitchen doesn’t work, and the balcony railing is unsecure.

Right on the James River and the Kingsmill Resort is HUGE!! Very convenient location.

The condo was perfect for my husband and I. The view is heavenly and the condo has everything you would need. Communication was great We will definitely be back!

Williamsburg on the James River

Beautiful on the river with a balcony. The only negative is the type of lock on the front door. It took several attempts to unlock the electronic lock; about 10 minutes. I’ve stayed in several rental properties with these type locks so I’m not sure what the issue was. Besides the lock every thing is very nice!

Hi Susan, thank you for choosing our condo. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! The lock worked perfectly fine for the guests before you and the ones after so I’m not sure why you had difficulty with it. It’s a very easy and straightforward lock. Good and Bad experience

The Hostess forgot to send the access code at 4:00. I left to get groceries and returned at 5:00 and still no code then send a message thru Vrbo on phone. It took awhile to get a response and by then I had gone up and down 3 flights of stairs with groceries and luggage I was ready to go to a hotel. I got her response which was frustrating because send insisted she sent the code. She sent a screen shot of her message which again only showed the directions NOT the code and when I said this she said Oh that's not the right one but never sent the fictitious message with code because it was not on the vrbo responses! She had told me the condo was on the 2nd floor and the day of I get the directions clearly indicated that it's on the 3rd floor (tough for a 70 yr old women with a bad knee). All was fine with the condo until the next afternoon when the key pad failed. I had been in and out several times that morning and when i got back from more grocery shopping it failed. I messaged again. She suggested over and over that I had put in the wrong code and locked it up. now I'm standing in a 90degree hallway with a bag of shrimp and scallops for a family reunion. she asked me to wait 4 min. for it to reset this went on for 25 min. She handed me off to her husband and he agreed to drive 50 min from VA beach. It took 1 1/2 hrs while I sat in my car with the fish. Not a happy camper as I had 1 hr. to shower and prepare for family reunion. the condo is nice but I would not recommend

Hi Donna, the code was sent before your check in time through my app but for some reason it did not go through. Once we connected over the phone, things went well until the lock was disabled due to multiple tries on your end. The security feature kicked in and you had to wait and let it reset before trying again. My husband brought you a key and since, we installed a key box so future guests will not encounter this issue again. They will have the option of using a key if code and technology isn’t their preference. We apologize for the inconvenience and glad that you made it to your family reunion and were able to use the key for the rest of your stay.

Beautiful Condo in Beautiful Resort Community
