Wonderful family reunion
Publié le 30 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe rented this gorgeous home for three generations of our family to gather together as we reconnected and visited family sites in Monterey and McDowell. I normally visit The Homestead area of Bath Co and knew that this property would be well maintained because of the management connection. I was not disappointed! The property is even more lovely than the pictures and was a perfect weekend retreat for the eight of us, who ranged in age from 20 - 84!

Fishing weekend
Publié le 16 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was everything as described. We enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is onsite. The highlight of the trip was having the neighbors cows stop by for a visit after escaping their pasture!

Relaxing getaway

A couple of us didn't find the beds very comfortable, but otherwise it was really homey and a great place to get away from the everything! Convenient to Warm Springs if you want to go for a soak!

Beautiful weekend in Bath County

We also got to enjoy the Maple Sugar Festival in Highland County. The property was wonderful and looked so nice with a covering of freshly fallen snow. Thank you so much for this experience!

Great family getaway!

Good for a weekend away with friends
Publié le 9 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayOur weekend was the epitome relaxing. It’s quite isolated and the surroundings are beautiful. The property is as advertised and the property manager was very responsive. Our group was three families with young kids. The space was great for outdoor activities (including a fire pit for s’mores). The house was clean, a good size, and served its purpose. The stairs are a bit treaturous with young kids. Overall, a great stay!

Perfect for families!

Great property and location

There were no activities nearby apart from great fishing and hunting... so be prepared with an agenda.
