Multi-Generational Gathering

Memorable time
Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a beautiful home. We rented for my son’s wedding in Montgomery. It most definitely checked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations. Terri was an absolute joy to visit with. She was prompted about answering questions and concerns. We will most definitely be returning for another memorable time.

Mothers Day Weekend

The description mentioned music from next door… the had a good blues band playing so honestly I enjoyed it.
We had four generations there for Mothers Day. My 84 year old mother enjoyed her grand kids and her littlest great granddaughter. I selected the location. Because it was local to family members she does not see often.
Nephew caught 2 good catfish. Cool little piece of sentimental info… yesterday would have been my Mum and Dads 63rd anniversary. Mum was missing him while we were sitting out on the deck. She looked up and a bald eagle flew over. Bald eagles are a sign to us that Dad is still with us. One flew over the church just before his celebration of life… and one flew over the church when my nephew got married! She blew the eagle a kiss.
We hope to stay at the house again… for longer.
Teri is a great communicator. Fast to respond and very warm. Thank you for sharing your home.

Amazing for grilling and chilling

Publié le 7 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayOne caveat on Friday and Saturday nights is live music from nearby restaurants/bar. A stay beginning on Sunday would avoid this. However such businesses come and go; music groups too. Several daytime guests expressed interest in pursuing a rental agreement.

Perfect for quick weekend away
Publié le 16 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayWe couldn't have picked a better house for our lake weekend. The back deck and dock are perfect for those who love the outdoors. There are big beautiful trees to provide shade almost all day! The kids loved the swing and jumping off the second level of dock. The house is close to the marina and restaurant next door. It was easy to get our boat in water at the Shell. We ate dinner Saturday night at the restaurant for our daughter's 16th birthday. The waitresses got everyone to sing happy birthday to her and the live band sang to her too! The house is also close to a little cove that we could paddle over to and kayak and paddle board. The house is nicely decorated and very homey. Feels like you are staying at a friends house for the weekend. It has awesome kitchen island and plenty of seating. Beds and comfortable and everyone talked about how comfy the couch was. We would definitely stay here again. 10/10!
