The cabin was beatiful. The bed was wonderful. Everything I needed was there. Even Ice in the freezer. BUT I can only give 3 stars because the door frame came off of the front door when I checked the security lock. I was traveling solo. I ended up pushing the kitchen table in front of the door to feel safe. Also, this property is very isolated with no one in the lobby. It was too far away from anywhere. Took about 90 mins to get back to Arcata to hike in the Redwoods. I did get a kick out of the Bigfoot Museum though.

Charming little cottages, but we arrived after the sun went down and there wasn't anything lighting the road to guide the way to the cottage, and only small lights where the numbers are from the main road, which made it difficult to find.
Bathroom was beautifully remodeled and clean, however, in the kitchen, living room and bathroom there were sizeable cobwebs in the high corners in each of the rooms, as well as on the bedroom blinds.

Great place to stay!
Publié le 1 déc. 2023 sur HotelsI stayed here for the week while I was out of town for work. It's a beautiful place. I loved the lights that they have along the road leading up to the cottages. The cottage was very clean and cozy. The kitchenette is perfect especially if you don't want to eat out and like to make your own meals. It was too cold to be out on the deck of the cabin, but it would be great for sitting out during warmer weather. It was very quiet as well. I would definitely stay there again!
