Nice, quiet stay

Beautiful Romantic Getaway VRBO
Posted Nov. 6, 2024 on HomeAwayEnjoyed a long weekend in the River Rock Room at the Muse House. It was tucked away in the hills of Amish Country. Their was SOOO Much in the room to do that we cancelled a museum trip to just relax in the room. The jacuzzi tub was a huge hit and the gas firepit was so relaxing to sit by and enjoy a glass of wine. The bed was a little firmer than I am used to but never had any issues with my back. We loved that coffee was provided, cable tv was available (not that we watched much) and so many other items in the room. Rick was fabulous to work with. He was so kind as to provide and electrical outlet for our EV so we could charge it while relaxing in the room. We wanted to finish reading all the comments left by previous guests but there so many that we didn't even finish 1 book. So many folks getting away for Anniversary trips and we added to it ourselves. It was a great place to reflect upon our 30 years of marriage.

Just Stay Here
Posted Oct. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayWe came in Friday night for a wedding Saturday and had to leave Sunday morning, but the property is amazing. The notes on the round river rocks were a nice touch and my wife loved the tub and heated bathroom floor (this stay probably cost us more for our upcoming bathroom remodel). We would've liked to stay longer and explore the horse farm and some of the other things Lancaster has available. Don't hesitate to book.

Serene Retreat
Posted Oct. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayWe needed a night of respite and the hosts and property provided for any need you may have and any mood you arrive in. We took incredible sunset and morning walks, beauitful and noteworthy sights all within a mile walking distance. We never even heard the hosts or anyone else on the property. It was SO quiet and peaceful. The property glows at sunset and its pretty magical to spend time outside in the evening. Directions and suggestions are here for everything you could anticipate, so arriving without an agenda is a lovely option too. The bath is a treat and everything you could need to treat yourself is there if you haven't brought it. I wish I had booked another night just to enjoy the art and literature in the room. What an absolute gem of a stay. Thank you.
