Welcome to Casa Azul Cottage. Enjoy everything that Carolina Beach has to offer at one of the original cottages left on Pleasure Island. This newly renovated 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage is located just a short, 5 minute walk to the beach or the downtown boardwalk area. Relax at the beach or have an activity-filled day. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off in upon returning from your adventurous beach days! The property is within walking distance to charter fishing, playgrounds, restaurants and bars, you are in the heart of it all! Casa Azul is the perfect spot for your next vacation. We have some beach chairs, umbrella and a beach cart available for your added convenience.

Short stay at Carolina Beach
Nicely decorated house with easy walk to beach and restaurants. Generally clean. And can tell someone put a lot of love in setting it up. But, needs deep cleaning for sofa, area rugs, and outside rooms. Strange policy of not washing bed covers and telling you they are only decorative. We would have brought blankets if we knew and ended up sleeping with beach towels.

Very clean. Bed and furniture very comfortable. Access to beach and restaurants excellent. Heating/air conditioning worked well. Living room lighting inadequate - unable to read at night. Also, some instructions about using the TV would help. Bottom line - this is a very nice little cottage.

Beautiful cottage!!!
It was the perfect place to stay. Close to everything and totally comfortable and clean. Love the gnarly old tree in the backyard. As others have said, if the door leading to the driveway worked so you could get to the backyard easier and unpack your car more efficiently, that would be the cherry on top. Thanks for a wonderdul beach haven for a much-needed relaxing vacation!!!

Grandkids vacation
I wanted to take my 4 grandkids to the beach. Every morning we walked to the beach then in the afternoon we walk down the road from the house to a nice park, it was great. House is clean and had a very nice back yard but had to walk out front door go around house to enter, that meant I had to escort my grandkids everytime they went in or out. Beds are great and the kitchen had nearly everything needed. Missing pans to cook in oven and no cutting board. We enjoyed the porch and watched the fireworks from beach. In all great little house could walk everywhere but for us I needed another bathroom and better access to back yard. A good find with older children. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The beach was not a far walk. The kids enjoyed the backyard. It would be nice for a back door to get straight to the backyard for the safety of children, but overall the property was great. Clean and comfortable.

Great location to beach and boardwalk
It was cozy amd clean but the best part for the large teenage boy-men was the backyard and screened in room! Everything worked well, except for the hair dryer, amd you can walk to the beach amd boatdwalk and several restaurants. The actual neighborhood was fine, nothing special. Beds were comfy! Outside shower was great! Would recommend!

Outstanding house, perfect for the beach and surrounding area!
Conveniently located to just about everything on Carolina Beach, this house was perfect. It was incredibly clean, had everything we needed to start (I forgot to buy coffee -- oops!), and everything was in fine working order. Instructions were crystal clear and the rules were quite fair. I would stay at this house again in a heartbeat!

Super Cute Cottage
The cottage was super cute and clean. It was perfect for our family of four. Loved the location and it’s super walkable to the beach and drivable to Kure beach and all the other activities we did. The backyard was totally great and useable too - the swing, the hideway with the TV in the back.

Very Very Nice! Better than the photos!
Communication was very good in writing and detailed before we got there so there was no need to ever call anyone for assistance. Clean!! Clean!! Clean!! Attention to detail is everywhere. The Decor really made you feel like you are in a Beach cottage getaway with all the many thoughtful touches. We walked to everything, Eat, Beach, Stores, Cocktails, Boardwalk. We used the cart provided and the umbrella and chairs for the beach. Time and effort were put into this cottage to ensure that the guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay here. We really appreciate all of the little things. Was the Perfect sized spot for the 2 of us to get away. There are 2 bedrooms. There is a whole other full-size bed and bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom, so definitely can accommodate more people. Keep in mind this is a popular weekend vacation area so you may faintly hear live music coming from the restaurants until about 12AM on the weekend. We were up playing cards so didn't bother us at all or the fact that we are night owls anyway. The music stops at 12AM sharp so must be the noise ordinance rules on the beach. We stayed 9/15-9/18-2022. Would definitely book this cottage again. Azul is my favorite color so that was a plus for me!

Amazing place!
The pictures don’t do this house justice! There were so many little elements to bring th beach cottage vibe to life while making our family feel at home. It’s perfect for our small family, and the beach was just a short walk away. The communication was quick and fully explained everything needed. I can’t wait to book again.

Adorable little beach cottage
This was our first vacation in NC and this cottage did not disappoint. Very cozy, clean and quiet. For me, the front porch was very relaxing.. The cottage is centrally located and walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. We’ll definitely be back!

My best friend and I had a wonderful time at Casa Azul Cottage! It met our every expectation and needs. Beds were very comfortable. It had an amazing back yard completely fenced in with amazing outdoor screened in porch with TV and kids play room. Great for a small family or small group. 1 bathroom. Contact always answered the phone right away and answered any and every question we had. He was very helpful and very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little house, beautiful property and house. Walking distance to the beach & multiple restaurants. The front porch was my little heaven, enjoyed my morning and evening coffees there. Just a couple of complaints which were the satellite (think they had the most basic channel package there could be, just wish there was a few more common channels to choose from). Also would have been nice if I could have put in my Netflix account so that we could have watched some movies at night, since it wasn't available to the renters. Boardwalk was a joke, very little open and run down. The pictures posted must have been from years ago. Other than that, the house was great and our stay was very relaxing.
