its an older place,but if you need a place to sleep,and take a shower,its fine,you park under a carport right next to your door,very easy and convenient to load and unload your car,i stayed there on new yrs eve and it was very quiet and peaceful

I had read one review by a tourist also named Richard. He gave Richards a bad name by brutalizing this property without even staying at it. The picture of the room is exact. It was comfortable, the bed was high up (which I like), the tv received MANY stations. It is more of a cottage than a hotel room. I was safe, had no issues, and the girl who checked me in did a great job. Sometimes in life, looks can be deceiving. If you are ever in Wilson and you just need a room for a night, this property fills the bill. I am sorry if anyone ever read the other guy's crappy review where he admits he never stayed there after booking a room.

I drive into lot and kept on driving. Ended up finding a safer area and cleaner hotel.
