Perfect Lake House
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayA long weekend to do some fishing and relaxing. Me, my wife, two 17 year olds and two 13 year olds. Rented a boat from Paradise Point and kept it at the house. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, did some kayaking, and we built a fire each night. The house was very clean, beds were great, and it had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Wonderful stay!

The large back porch was perfect for hanging out, watching the lake, birds (blue herons, egrets), boats, sunrise. The living room had more than enough comfortable seating for all of us, and the kitchen was very well-equiped (including multiple machines for making coffee!). The hosts were so helpful, replying quickly to a couple of questions (before and after we got there).
We'd happily stay here again!

Serenity
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMost peaceful get away I ever had. Every aspect of this get away was above expectations from the comfortable lodgings to the serene location. Spent every day kayaking, lounging on beautiful back deck and/or dock watching lake activity or chilling out by campfire at night near the water. Mike, our host was accommodating and always responded promptly to inquiries. Thankful to him and his wife for sharing their little peace of heaven with us.

Talladega retreat
Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed at the property and attended races at Talladega Motor Speedway. Very nice property, well kept, and many amenities. The Lay Lake is beautiful, especially at sunrise. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Peaceful and Relaxing
