Nice cottage

We were there during cold and wet weather, so we weren't able to use any of the outside areas, but the back yard seemed peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was clean and stocked with necessities. The interior is heated by a split system and we did struggle to find a comfortable temperature throughout, but there was a space heater for the bedroom, too. The sleeper sofa is a twin trundle. My husband was not feeling well one night and tried to sleep there. I don't see how it would comfortably accommodate two adults, but two kids would be ok. The one thing that bothered us the most, was that there was only one towel and one washcloth per person for the entire stay. I asked the property manager before we arrived if there were laundry facilities and was told there was. We looked outside and there was a cellar door, but it was locked with a padlock so if the laundry was there, it was inaccessible to us. We didn't see anything in the binder that disclosed a combination to the lock. We ended up needing to borrow clean linens from our local relatives that we were visiting.
Some of the other reviews note that it is noisy due to the location on a somewhat busy road. The noise is not detectable from the bedroom, but if you are a light sleeper or if the windows are open in nice weather, you might be bothered by it.

Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was perfect! My only suggestion would be to cut the hedge back a bit next to the mailbox, so there is more visibility to see oncoming traffic On Wilsonville Road. It is difficult to get out of the driveway and turn left

Not a Quiet Stay
Publié le 7 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe seek out VRBO places to stay which are quiet. This is NOT a quiet escape as advertised. It is right on Wilsonville Road which is a VERY heavily traveled road. We couldn't close the bedroom door because the bed was in the way. Two of the interior doors could only close with a latch. The furniture we found to be very uncomfortable. The place was clean, but way overpriced for what you got.

Great cottage! Does not disappoint

Check in was a breeze & the house is well appointed. Everything you need is there. It’s quiet & the view is beautiful! I look forward to coming back again.

Not as described Pictures not accurate

Blankets were on the couch in the living room, the toilet was disgustingly dirty, and trash had not been taken out in all parts of the house. There were dishes in the sink I immediately reached out to the property manager and informed them of the issues.
We had just driven in from our trip from California to Oregon only to find this rental property to be a disappointment because it was not at all as described on the booking site. Simple things like a coffee maker were not available, only an Espresso machine, it had a kettle but not what we were looking for since we had K cups for our travels.
The bed at this rental left much to be desired, it looked worn and it felt worn. Not very sturdy at all, and the Headboard section had a number of wooden pegs that were broken, I've seen beds at a Thrift store in much better condition.
The property manager did offer to pay for our dinner while the property was cleaned up, however, upon our return I inspected the property further only to find that the space heater that I asked about prior to our booking was not present. I also found all white towels to be substandard, they were riddled with yellow stains and should not have been in circulation as part of this rental. I reached out to the property manager again, I addressed my concerns with the property manager and asked for a partial refund for my troubles, to no avail.
I would not rent this again.

Quiet retreat
Publié le 2 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayCozy, well-appointed cottage slightly off the beaten path but easily accessible to vineyards, restaurants, etc. Gorgeous, quiet countryside setting was a very welcome reprieve from our earlier stay in downtown Portland. Highly, highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

Great getaway!!!

A comfortable, relaxing stay
