Wimberly Paradise
We loved the Homestead House and would definitely stay again. The phrase "wow this is even nicer than we expected" was used many times. It's in a great location close to downtown Wimberly, but removed enough to feel very secluded. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved all the outdoor space. This is top of our list for staying in Wimberly.

Loved this house! Stayed here for a friend reunion with 14 adults and it was perfect. Lots of different spaces to hang out and everything was very clean and worked perfectly. We had no issues at all, from check in to the hot tub to the fire pit and grill. Definitely would recommend. As for activities, we loved the wimberley square/downtown area. Several great restaurants and nice coffee shops. We did the zipline which was fun and only about 10 minutes away (if you go on Sundays there’s a discount code - check the website!) Canyon lake was a bit disappointing due to the water being so low but that’s expected for the time of year. We did the Texas State Tubes water float which was great, about a 30 minute drive. Overall great trip and would stay here again!

Awesome place for a family get-together and enjoy time in a quiet, relaxing surroundings! Loved it! My group ages ranged from 11 years to 77. The screened in porch was our favorite spot. We made use of the smoker and the grill. We loved how many options we had for dinner seating and game playing. Really well thought out for relaxing and connecting!

We loved the house- it was extremely comfortable. Our group consisted of my 80+ yo mom, three 17 yo teens, my 2 sisters and my husband. The game room was great- ping pong was played by most. We didn't get to enjoy the hot tub due to some mechanical issues, but the property owner was gracious and compensated us for the lack of the hot tub. Other than that (and the crazy Texas heat!) we really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had top of the line appliances, and we appreciated the second refrigerator. Everything we needed for cooking was supplied. Very well stocked. We loved the long table with the metal top- great for games! Towels and bedding were very nice quality and the mattresses were comfortable. There was a lot of parking for the 4 vehicles. It's in a beautiful place to go for walks (when it's cool), and we did get in a good 15 minute walk before melting and giving up to the AC. The AC in the house was able to keep up with the outdoor heat, so no worries there. The screened in porch was nice. If you are looking for good bar food and don't mind an extremely loud atmosphere, Savages, the closest restaurant is fun. Our group didn't really enjoy just because we couldn't hear each other. The food was on par for bar food. We had a very nice stay and felt we were very informed about everything. Management was very attentive. Lovely stay!

We will be back!
We came for our son’s wedding in town, but have all agreed we want to come back for a long family weekend and just enjoy the house and it’s amenities. It is rustic and comfortable. We had a small lizard sitting atop our light shade but my grandson thought that was fabulous! Room for adventure and fun! Two thumbs up!

Our family had a great time at your house. It was nice for each bedroom to have a private bath. Loved the game room (have you ever considered adding a rest room in that space?)! Loved all the outdoor space - the screened in porch and the picnic area. The house is 10 minutes from downtown Wimberly making it easy to get to town and the grocery store. Will definitely return in the future!

Great House!
Book this house! This house was clean and the perfect space for our group of 8 women. Kitchen is well stocked and everything is in really nice shape. Hot tub, game room, screened in porch, cozy living space - we loved everything! Beds were comfy, showers were hot. Easy 10-15 drive to downtown Wimberley. That being said - don't listen to Google or Apple maps for directions to the house, get specific directions from property management. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful spot
This place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had plenty of room for everyone to relax and chill out. I especially loved the screened in porch and porch swing. Our young adults loved hanging out in the game room. The kitchen was well equipped for my foodie hubby and with the two large tables we had plenty of room for everyone to eat at once. Thank you so very much. We really loved it and have already recommended to friends!
