Great front of house staff Water temp is poor though and heaters do not work and some areas could be cleaner

Unfortunately room 8 had a damp smell which was very noticeable on entry and also there’s specks of black mould on the bathroom ceiling and cobwebs in the corner of the room. Was expecting a premier inn type budget hotel but this was far below my expectations and I will not be booking again.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding areas/gardens were kept lovely (especially the bunnies!). The towels, bed linen and pillows were all of good quality & our room was very spacious. Some TLC needed in areas such a grouting, limescale build up on the bath taps and chipped varnish on floor board but for the cost paid (£104) it was good value. Car park is just out front which was convenient and there is a services opposite with a macdonalds and costa which was also handy before traveling back. Thanks team!

Obviously this is a budget hotel but i would not go back. The bed was really uncomfortable, barely slept. Every time a lorry went past the room woukd rattle and the floor was covered in ants everywhere. Booked for 2 nights and left after night 1. Will be making a formal complaint
