Hôtel bien situé près du LAC A WONDERMERE.

Pour le souper l'hôtel propose un cuisine Française de qualité mais style nouvelle cuisine donc gros appétits demander discrètement la carte BAR MENU mieux pourvue en quantité mais également D'UN SUPERBE NIVEAU.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel very much, not limited to friendly staff, spacious green area and clean and comfortable room. Two suggestions: 1. A reflective mirror at the car exit as the visibility of coming cars was low when I drove out
2 Better have a refrigerator

We stayed 2 nights here and loved it. We first met Martin when we checked in and he made it a great stay. He was always attentive and helpful. He managed to persuade us not only on breakfast but also on dinner both nights and we weren’t disappointed. The food was amazing.
We stayed in a garden room, so with our dog this was ideal as a door opened onto the garden with a table and chairs outside. The shower pressure wasn’t the best and we never did figure out how to turn on the bedside lights but the room was spacious and comfortable.
The only thing I felt was disappointing was how another guest was treated when her little dogs barked. We were sitting at breakfast in a separate room from people without dogs and someone must have complained about the dogs. The owners were asked to move to another room ( mid breakfast) . When I saw the dog owner later she was very upset. This is a dog friendly hotel so they shouldn’t have been asked to move. Someone with noisy or crying children wouldn’t have been asked to move. I think the guest complaining should have been moved. After all, we pay extra to have dogs there. This would put me off coming again with my dog.

We do love to welcome dogs to the hotel and are most fortunate to have rooms that open up onto the garden. However we do understand that not all guests enjoy the company of dogs and so on the occasion that they are disruptive, we may quietly speak to the owner because we have to respect all of our guests are looking for a relaxing stay.Thank you once again for choosing the Briery Wood.

Exceptionally Clean & Friendly Hotel

Evening meal was really nice & the breakfast was too. All staff were very friendly & approachable. Would recommend this hotel to family & friends. Thank you.
