Birthday in the lakes
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HotelsFantastic 3 night stay at this b&b. 15 mins walk into bowness and same the other way to Windermere so perfect for restaurants and bars .
We stopped in the suite with its own lounge and patio with hot tub which was fantastic , but you would need to book well in advance for this as it’s not always available .
Everything was spot on for our stay , breakfast in the morning consisted of fruit and yogurt , cereals, all different jams and spreads , and full English breakfast and other things available .
Ian the host kept in communication with us to make sure our stay was perfect. Would highly recommend this place and we certainly will be coming back again 👍

Beautiful guest house, fantastic host!
Publié le 19 mai 2024 sur HotelsWe have just come back from a beautiful, comfortable stay at Glencree. Ian is a fantastic host and communication was very easy. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely stunning! The guest house is about a 10 minute walk from everything (including the lake) so brilliant location. Waking up to the sound of the running stream outside was one of the highlights, so peaceful! Breakfast was very well ran, and the food was lovely. For our first trip to the Lake District we couldn’t have chosen better and I think we’ve found our go-to place! Thank you!

Had a great few nights at Glencree - excellent base for Bowness, Windemere and the other tourist spots - breakfast was top notch will defo be back again
