So comfortable

Windermere cottage

It is tucked away peacefully on the river with a lovely garden to sit and watch the sunset while drinking a nice glass of local red or the white thoughtfully provided by the owners.There is nothing that they have not thought of and as an extra bonus, the bed was super comfortable. The cottage was exactly as described. Not modern but homely.

First, many thanks for sending us the terrific sunset photo taken from the main deck - it is now up on our website! We are pleased the cottage had everything you needed. We aim for a feel that is welcoming and bright and lived in, to give guests a quite different experience to a hotel room or apartment.

Beautiful serene location

Sitting on the deck in the morning and evening were perfect starts and end to the day. The location was an easy drive to town. The house was equipped with everything needed and then some. We will be back when we again visit Tasmania.

Rose-Lynn was a pleasure to deal with. Travelling all the way from Illinois she asked intelligent questions about Olive's Cottage and Tasmania. She and her group treated the property with respect and we are so glad they enjoyed themselves. Exactly the kind of guests we love to have.

Sunrise on Tamar Estuary
Publié le 28 déc. 2019 sur HomeAwayGreat, peaceful location. Well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Breakfast starter with fresh strawberries and eggs a nice touch. Sofa and sitting chairs could be improved, but overall a lovely place to stay.
