Schrödinger’s lounge - is it there or not?
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HotelsA curious though adequate place, at times we felt as though we were a bit of an inconvenience - we got stuck in traffic so a couple of hours later than predicted - greeted with ‘oh, you were meant to be here earlier but we’ll take your breakfast order anyway’ (must be in before 6pm, it was nearer 7). We were told and show. The lounch with honesty bar. We weren’t told it’s locked - yes locked - at 10. We arrived back from dinner at 3 minutes past to find this out. The following night it was closed by 9.55pm. Breakfast was good but it really lacked the ambience or conviviality which would have improved the stay

The owners and the staff are extremly polite and customer-friendly. Very patient with kids. The check-in was very detailed and helpful
Food and beverages meet high standards. Breakfast freshly made.
The lodge itself is beautiful and in very good conditions. Rooms are spacious and clean.
Located near to multiple points of interest.

Cleanliness was good, towels were changed second night and bin empty every day. The breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from. Price for what we paid and overall experience, well worth it. Recommend the place.

The attention to detail was second to none. The hosts were very attentive with prepared routes and even bus maps ready to help us plan our days out.
We used the included health club located 5 mins drive away, it was perfect after our long walks.
Would highly recommend.
