The property was within walking distance of Windermere and Bowness.
The hotel was spotless as were the rooms with some lovely personal touches.
The breakfast was amazing with a choice of 24 hot options, you just had to order by 6.30pm the night before. On top of that there was cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, yoghurt, toast, fruit juice, tea and coffee - absolutely superb.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Lake District.

Fabulous property and extremely welcoming,helpful hosts. Everything you could need and more is provided. Amazing choice of breakfasts and absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The en-suite room was beautiful and large with large tv, wifi, fridge, comfy sofa. Everything so clean. The staff were very friendly and 10/10 for variety of breakfasts. We certainly will go again.

Schrödinger’s lounge - is it there or not?
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HotelsA curious though adequate place, at times we felt as though we were a bit of an inconvenience - we got stuck in traffic so a couple of hours later than predicted - greeted with ‘oh, you were meant to be here earlier but we’ll take your breakfast order anyway’ (must be in before 6pm, it was nearer 7). We were told and show. The lounch with honesty bar. We weren’t told it’s locked - yes locked - at 10. We arrived back from dinner at 3 minutes past to find this out. The following night it was closed by 9.55pm. Breakfast was good but it really lacked the ambience or conviviality which would have improved the stay
