Underwhelming mountain cottage
Publié le 19 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location and layout of the home was ideal for our family, but we were underwhelmed by the condition of the home. Many of the ceiling lights were not working, and the main living area was very dark. Plan to eat most meals out and you won’t be disappointed as the kitchen was not well stocked to prepare food (no spatulas or measuring cups) the ice maker made ice but did not dispense it and the filter for water was due to be replaced.
The washing machine did not work and despite addressing it on the second day of our stay, it was not fixed.
The linens are kept under lock and key so make sure you confirm the number of towels and sheets you need prior to your arrival. We were provided with the wrong contact info in our welcome email so there was delay in reaching the property manager.
The property had a nice slope which was great for our kids (who are too young to ski) to sled. The basement was fun and spacious.

Nice house, great spot
Publié le 12 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayHouse is in great condition and property is nice. Location is convenient - just beyond the village of Windham. Fire pit was great during our summer stay.
