Very cozy stay
Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our time at this beautiful home in historic Walkerville! Everything was super clean and comfy. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful shower in the basement level. Enjoyed watching a few movies in the little theater room area. Walked to nearby restaurants and the neighborhood is so cute and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Adam's Place in Walkerville once again did not disappoint!
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a favorite area in Windsor. The apartment is perfect for us and has every amenity. The Bieszk's are wonderful hosts and very responsive. We appreciate them renting out Adam's Place. It is a much better value than paying as much or more for a hotel room. It's an easy drive to wineries, shopping, restaurants and Detroit for the Jazz Festival - the tunnel takes you almost directly to Hart Plaza on the river which is where two of the 3 main stages are located. It's also a great location to bide ride and walk. Having Willistead Park directly across the street is super convenient. This was our second time staying at Adam's Place and we hope to return again.

The location was perfect for walking to many restaurants, shops and learning about the many historical homes in the walkerville area. We would definitely stay here again!

"Home away from home"

For those of advancing years, it would have been good to know ahead of time that the second bathroom was actually down in the basement.

Pictures just do not do this place justice!
Publié le 24 sept. 2019 sur HomeAwayIt looks nice in the pictures to be sure but once you walk in and experience the ambiance of Adam's Apartments, you will know the pictures lie! It is just beautiful! An incredibly decorated apartment, stocked with anything you could ever want or need for a comfortable stay. Walking distance from a quaint little block filled with shops and restaurants and next to a beautiful, bustling park, you will find plenty to do nearby but it is a super easy drive to the casino and other activities. Might not be great if you have trouble with stairs and I don't think it is a great place for small children but as two adult couples, we were very happy with our stay. Thanks to Leon and Nella for being such great hosts!!

We highlight the fact that this apartment is an upper floor unit, and we will review the on-line description and see if can make improvements. Adams Place is ideal for one or two couples, however we have hosted many families with small children. We typically do a little 'child proofing' prior to there stay. On occasion we have also supplied crib and high chair.
