Great stay
Publié le 10 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, this was a great spot! We rented a 2 bedroom/2 bath which was perfect for our family. The kids enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The rental was clean and reasonably updated. The only negative to the stay was the check-in process and this was no fault of the host. Wyndham did not have our room ready at 4pm check-in time. They told us it would be less than 30 minutes until it was ready and that I could grab our wristbands (key for the room & pools) while we waited and those would be activated when the room was ready. The wristbands needed to be picked up from one of the Wyndham ambassadors, which ended up being the person that tries to sell you a timeshare. They do attempt to get you to attend a 90 minute presentation about buying into the Wyndham timeshares. The ambassador told me that unfortunately he couldn't talk to me about it if my husband wasn't also present which seemed like an odd comment but at least I didn't have to decline attending the presentation! We had no issues during our stay and would definitely book again through VRBO/Annette!

Publié le 28 juill. 2018 sur HomeAwayI stayed at this property with my husband, 2 kids and my 80 year old grandmother. The access to an elevator was helpful. We were told there was no AC but our unit was quite cool! Even on the 37 degree day. The walls were a little thin, but we talked to the people in the suite next to us and let them know. It was just a few young people having a good time, so no harm no foul!
The murphy bed in the living room was more than we expected as well. I was a nice thick mattress. My daughter slept comfortable.
Great people to rent from. Would definitely rent again.

Check-in was a nightmare.
Publié le 6 juin 2018 sur HomeAwayThe property is attractive, clean, spacious and updated. That being said our check-in was a nightmare! We arrived after 5 o’clock (check-in is 4:00 pm) only to be told our unit was not ready. We were told it would be an hour, they suggested we go to a nearby restaurant for a drink and they would call us when the unit was ready. After an hour we returned only to be to told housekeeping hadn’t started cleaning our unit and they didn’t know when it would be ready. We were offered a downstairs unit (an upstairs unit was requested), it was now 6:30, we took the downstairs unit. The VRBO listing is disingenuous, it leads you to believe you are renting a specific unit, you are not! I should have listened to the other reviews.

I am sorry you were not happy with the checkin , my listings state that this is timeshare, all units furnished the same and Wyndham assigns the actual unit at checkin. There is no way to guarantee a specific Unit, In the letter you received with the reservation, I clearly state checkin can be later, when resort is busy turning lots of condos. Most of the time checkin is 4PM, but I rent it clearly with a checkin time of 5-6pm in the description to offset this exact situation. 6:30 is late.I try very hard to not Overstate, over Promise and exaggerate what people are getting, If anything, I undersell , just so people can really be happy with what they get, its a NICE RESORT!!
Please, Anyone reading this, read all the descriptions in my listings to see that I try to cover it all, and dont mislead or make promises that are not true.
Again, 6:30 is late, and I am sorry, Wyndham Controls that and work hard to get rooms by 4PM, I am very upfront and want renters to know what they are renting.
Below is some of the message that the renter received May17th,2018 with their confirmation, Every renter receives this within 48 hours of booking with the Actual Wyndham reservation. And it is the first this they read before the reservation!

PLEASE MAKE SURE THE NAME ON THE RESERVATION MATCHES YOUR PHOTO ID If it does not match, you may not be permitted to check in, also PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE DATES AND ROOM SIZE ON THE CONFIRMATION!! so, notify me immediately if a correction is needed.
CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
IMPORTANT!
Occupancy is enforced at the resort. Check-in time is 5:00 PM; however, if you are traveling in the summer when guest turnover is high, the resort can run behind on cleaning the units, potentially delaying your check-in until 7:00 PM. If you arrive at the resort before 5:00 PM or if your room is not ready, you can use the pool and resort facilities while waiting. The front desk is open 24 hours for late check-in.
Upon check-in, the resort will require a $100.00 draw on your credit card for security purposes and incidentals. The draw will be released back to your credit card at check-out.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. The great staff members work hard to get everything right and on time.

great Windsor Stay

the only issue we had was the king bed was extremely soft so did not get very good night sleeps, it had a foam pad on it, that made it worse. If we were staying longer we would have asked them to remove the foam at least or move to another unit. Would stay again but would ask to check the bed out first in the unit assigned
