Perfect hotel for a quick stop

This is a older hotel that doesn't have new counters, carpet, coffee pots in the room, etc. but it is very centrally located in town, they have things I miss in many budget hotels today like a clock in the room, tissues in the bathroom, a AC unit that is on the wall high and not right next to the bed blasting you all night. And they have smoking rooms so they are open to all guest - not just ones who complain. Great staff who makes sure you get anything you need. So nothing special in the room or property, but easy to get to, enough parking, coffee and juice in the lobby, and reasonable prices. All I needed.

Manager was friendly. We also liked the breakfast food choices.
The room needs more spots to hang towels.

Good location to restaurants and across the street from an amazing bakery. We will choose a different motel on our way back through.

The woman (owner?) who checked us in was pleasant and friendly. The room was reasonably clean. But this is an older somewhat run-down hotel that needs repair and updating. The reviews I read were pretty positive, but we were disappointed.

Nice big room for me, my daughter and dog. Quiet. Woman at desk a delight to chat with, helpful. We are so happy to have stayed in town rather than outskirts
