I stayed at this hotel because I was in Winner, South Dakota to go pheasant hunting with my dog. The hotel is absolutely accommodating for hunters with dogs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very good continental breakfast. I will stay in Knights Inn the next time I am hunting in Winner. South Dakota.
No signage. Couldn’t find the hotel name, and when we did find it, it was a different name. Dirty sheets, stained, rebar sticking up in the parking area. The key didn’t work in the lock until you jiggled it several times. No refund.
Staff was nice during check in, office was not labeled and checked in a restaurant/bar. Grungy parking lot, definitely didn’t look safe. Likely it is from the 70’s with very little updates. Pillow case and sheets were clean but had minor stains. It was more of an accidental booking and we couldn’t cancel.
I went to Winner, South Dakota to go pheasant hunting. I brought my bird dog with me and it was no problem having her in the room (pet friendly). There were no real negatives to the room and I will stay there the next time I am in Winner. There is a Subway restaurant in the parking lot adjoining the hotel. There is a McDonalds one block away for morning coffee.

They say on the site and web that they have a pub, been closed for 3 years. Ice maker but no ice buckets. No pool or hot tub broken.
It was the worst I’ve ever seen and they stole from us. I could go on for days but it was God aweful. This is coming from an outdoorsman that is used to sleeping in a tent…..that would have been better.
Hard to locate. Had 3 different names on the building...Knight's Inn, Warrior Inn and Prairie Sky Pub. Would been nice, but pub closed 10 years ago. Ugly gravel parking lot, broken concrete. Old, not well kept. Checked beds--bed bugs! Offered me a different room, but this place simply creeped me out. Couldn't do it. Would not give a refund, so I guess I'm out $78.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We simply needed a place to sleep on our way to Minneapolis. It met that need. The hotel is tired, not a problem. I'd be happy with the tired facilities if it were a little cleaner. It wasn't terrible, but bath looked like it could use scrubbing. There was a rodeo in town and a little partying, but that wasn't the hotel, thats just the time we were there.
This was probably one of our worst hotel stays we’ve ever had, and we’ve stayed in a few dives. The sink did not work, nor did the tv, and the wall adjacent to the toilet had a large 12”x36” segment of drywall missing, leaving the plumbing and internal workings exposed. The bathroom was pretty dirty, and the floor throughout the room was dingy, causing our feet to turn black when walking in socks or bare feet while in our room. No one was there to check us in, and instead you just dialed a number from the desk where all the keycards were laid out…the person didn’t actually come out to check us in. Breakfast in the morning was a bunch of Little Debbie/hostess cakes, cupcakes, and twinkies. Only like bread and pre packaged oatmeal for like a “real” or even remotely healthy food to eat…no fruit, no bagels. Just slices of bread or a package of oatmeal for anything that wasn’t a little Debbie snack!
