Great location place smelt awful

Could be a great rental but the smell of cooking was over powering every day. I wanted to stay another month but could not due to the smell Sorry

Thank you for review but no one has ever complained about our cooking before. You talked about the smell of food not the house being dirty and smelly. We cook for our family upstairs and there was never a complain from any of our former guests. Moreover, we wouldn't like to have you as a guest again either. You blocked all the vents downstairs with fabric softener sheets, you turned all the towels provided into floor rags using them to mop the floor, and you disarrayed the whole house leaving us to start rearranging after you left. You were not a good guest yourself.

It was cold in the basement and for a five night stay Two towels in the bathroom was insufficient. Very clean and quiet though.

Great Location

We felt very comfortable at this rental. We stayed 12 days. There were a few mechanical problems which were resolved. I suggest the owner put a motion sensor activated light out side the entrance door as it was very dark as we returned a few evenings making unlocking the door difficult. The kitchen has a hotplate, not a stove/oven combo. Othrwise it was clean and the bed was FABULOUS!!

Bring a few things to make your stay better.

Towels are hurting, kitchen cabinets are not stocked well and need to be wiped out, but space is newer, larger then a hotel room and has a nice big tv. Bed linens are none existent.

We are sincerely sorry not to have satisfied you but would really appreciate to let us know what needed in the cabinets in order to satisfy prospective guests. More so, we were so concerned and more than ready to make your stay comfortable thus the reason we kept asking to let us know if you needed any other thing to make your stay worthwhile but YOU said everything was perfect. And there was definitely a linen on the bed. All in all,we say thank you again for booking with us.
