Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was a very convenient location, right downtown and close to where our conference was being held! The building was also easy to access and the check-in instructions were clear. We had asked if it would be possible to check-in earlier but unfortunately we were not able to due to a cleaning crew being there. The host said they would contact us once the crew had left but never did. We ended up arriving at the apartment before the check-in time and the apartment was empty (so they just did not bother to message). This is fine, as the stated check-in time is 4pm, however, the apartment was not the cleanest when we arrived. The floors had definitely not been vacuumed/swept and there was a lot of dirt and dust on surfaces and on the floor (especially in the bedrooms). We expected it to be a lot cleaner, given that a crew was supposedly there right before we arrived.

Very poor internet
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayAs a fellow host we were a little disappointed with our stay at such a beautiful property. Needless to say this condo has a beautiful view and great amenities however things felt a little unprepared for our stay. Cleaning crew could’ve don’t better at cleaning and prepping for our stay,lots of hair especially in the bathroom floor. Basic necessities such as toilet paper and soap are not mandatory but really appreciated for stays.
The worst thing was the Internet service, we reset the modem and still couldn't get signal.
I hope the host invest in good Internet service.

Great communication. Received the information needed to access the unit and had no issues to mention.
Once in the unit, there was a binder with all the other tidbits of info needed.
My son and I had a great time there and at the Jets game.

The beds and bedding were dreamy, upstairs common area had an amazing view, wish we could have enjoyed that more.
Shower was a bit tricky, I think it's broken and therefore remains low as you can't raise it and have it stay, works well otherwise, you just need to take it off the hook. A toaster would be a good addition as well. All in all nice property and a great location for our purpose which was simply exploring downtown Winnipeg!

The lack of communication made getting to the property very hard. I was sent no communication until I reached out to property manager when I arrived. Until then I was detained by security. The only information I got on the property was the keypad code to get in, nothing else. Then once checked in the property manager called about noise complaints while I was not at the property. I tried explaining it wasn't me but I got evicted anyway. Would not recommend this property to anyone as you will probably end up at a hotel across the road like I did.
