The room is a basement apartment and the door can be locked by the owner of the house. There is no fire escape. You enter the room by the front door to the general family living room and enter the basement apartment. NOISE. Lots of noise. The owner even texted me one night telling me that they were going to have a fellowship meeting that night between 2200h and 0100h, and that there would noise and to bear with them. Insane!
I bolted out of that place and found a legitimate Inn in the city for the rest of my visit in Winnipeg.
DO NOT STAY HERE! You will regret it if you do.

Everyone has right to their opinion. Unfortunately this is my first guest on vrbo. It is stated clearly in the description that it is a basement suite. I have had more than 30 guests through other platforms with very high rating.
The guest stayed 3 out of 5 day, then left and was asking for full refund. Very ridiculous.
He is definitely a fraud. I wasn't sensitive enough to his schemes.
Please be cautious when you are taking him in to your property.
