Okay not great
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived the place was nice and clean but when we went in there was water all over the floor as the dehumidifier wasnt working.We were also unable to get the tv to work. We reached the host by knocking on their door as we had no way of contacting them as noone had acknowledged our arrival. She came down and replaced the remote for the tvand emptied and unplugged the humidifier and said her husband would be down to look at it. We never saw or heard from our hosts again We asked for more towels but never recieved them4 towels and 2 faceclothes for two people is not sufficient. The place was extremely damp because of no dehumidifier and our towels were never dry. Although we enjoyed our stay I would not return or recommend it. Hesitated between a 3 and 4 rating but went with 4 because it was clean and an excellent location

Hi Patricia, thank you for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry that the humidifer malfunctioned between when we setup the place for you and when you arrived. This was not planned, and sometimes, despite our best intentions, things happen. I apologise again for that and that we couldn't get it fixed before your checkout time. Rest assured, it is running fine now.
Ours is a self check-in arrangement, and no one checks you in. We provide all the contact channels for you to reach us if you need anything.
As for contact channels to reach us, you can always reach us on the messaging part of this platform with just a click. Alternatively, you can reach us via phone call on our contact phone number provided on the platform. We also have the phone number placed at the entrance door to the suit for your concenience, but you confirmed to me that you are not so great with tech and were not sure who you were messaging thinking it was me. However, I did write the number down on a paper for you when I came down, so you could reach out if you need anything.
When I came down to help you with the TV/remote, I actually spent some time trying to help you find your favourite show on TV which took a while as I am not familiar with those shows, having spent that lenghty amount of time on it, I totally missed to hand you the towels you requested and left. Sorry about that, I wish you had let me know.
We will be delighted to have you visit again and we promise you would have an amazing experience.

Winnipeg Stay
Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful property with spacious bedrooms. It’s located close to the Canadian Mint and University of Manitoba.
The property houses 4people but the dining table only has 2 seats ~ maybe host should consider foldable seating for extra seats at breakfast table.
Communication with host was smooth and timely. We enjoyed our 3 night stay as we celebrated our newest graduate in the family.

Worth the money for sure
