A great 28 day getaway for us!
The rooms were great, modern, and well equipped and we found ourselves comfortable there for a 28 day stay. But the people made our stay. Always friendly anytime we needed help. Housekeeping worked hard and kept us supplied. Front desk professional and top-notch. The morning kitchen help was unbelievable, always working hard, and somehow that floor seemed to be kept clean all the time. Complementary soup in the afternoon was a nice touch as well. Thank you Super 8 Canada, we are coming back!

Nice stay over all.
The stay was quite nice. The soup in the lobby was a great touch for cold days. I will note that there was a very strong smell in the main lobby and throughout the elevator and hallways for nearly the entire stay from Friday through Monday.

We were really impressed with the dog friendly rooms. Dog bed, and bowls were unexpected as we brought our own. We usually leave our 4 legged family member with family or friends when we travel to the city but we will bring him now that we know that the super 8 is so accommodating to dogs. I recently stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham Winnipeg East MB during a short business trip. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are areas where improvements are needed. The Good: Breakfast: The morning breakfast was decent and provided a convenient start to the day. Room Quality: The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable. Staff: The staff were super nice and accommodating, which added a positive touch to the experience. Areas for Improvement: Noise Insulation: The walls and ceilings are poorly insulated, making the room quite noisy. I could hear sounds from adjacent rooms and above. Cooking Smells: It seemed like my room was directly below the kitchen, as I could smell cooking in the mornings. Room Amenities: The room lacked certain standard amenities for 2024, such as multiple charging docks, an iron and ironing board, and an extra hot blanket. Early Check-In Policy: Early check-in was not complimentary, even though rooms were clearly available, which felt unnecessary. Location: The hotel’s location is quite remote, far from downtown and other key areas. Suggestions: For a hotel in this price range, I recommend considering options like the Alt Hotel Winnipeg or Holiday Inn and Suites Winnipeg Downtown. Both are closer to downtown, which could save significantly on transportation costs. If breakfast for two is the main deciding factor, the overall cost difference may not justify staying at this location.
