Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cabin with serene private lake views from living room and bedroom. Large deck to enjoy the view and enjoy your favorite meal or beverage. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet and gated community with fishing ponds and many walking trails. Many activities - Enjoy fishing, take the kayak onto the lake, make s'mores at the fire pit, relax on the 2 person hammock, enjoy the trails or play backyard games. A true peaceful retreat from city life.

Located in a resort community with gated access, this cabin has about 700 sqft of living space with 1 bedroom, a bunk bed in the living room. Direct lake access from backyard to the largest pond in the community.

PLEASE NOTE: Inside fireplace is not to be used!

Birthday Getaway
We came up for my 30th to have quiet mornings on the lake and make smores over the fire at night. It was very cute and cozy! We brought a yoga mat to sit on the dock and it was the best idea! The neighbors are quiet and the lake is serene. The canoes has to be de-spidered but that’s part of the charm! We made all our meals and had no trouble. My best suggestion there Is to bring a pitcher or something to cook in. Meagan was an amazing host and we really loved it!

Quiet Hideaway, highly recommended!!
The little cabin was very clean. I requested no strong smells due to allergies and there was none. My husband is a large tall man and had a little challenge in the small shower. A slide bar for the shower head/wand would have alleviated that. Pricing was affordable. There was a kayak and a canoe for our use, they also had life vests. The entire neighborhood was quiet, the lake was quiet. Was a perfect 4 day stay for a getaway!

We were just taking a short 4 day get away. More about the pets than people. They loved the water access right off the back yard. Nice sized deck at back of house. Lot of dock diving and swimming were had. Gated community don’t think we saw a single person the whole time we were there.

Giant beautiful Oak trees plus beautiful lake
We were so happy. The cabin was surrounded by giant Oak trees. Sitting on the deck looking up at them is awesome, and we were looking at a private pier on a beautiful lake. We saw lots of waterfowl and just enjoyed it all. One note though. When my dog and I went to the end of our driveway to get the trash cans we were aggressively approached by 2 pit bull dogs. A white one; and a black one. I was able to separate them from my dog; but the black pit aggressively approached me. I just walked off. When I returned the trash can to the end of the driveway I did not see them. If this had been my wife I would have shot both dogs. These aggressive dogs are running loose. Other than that we loved our stay. Hopefully we will see y’all again.

Just as advertised
My family and fur babies had the best time. Was exactly as advertised. Very quiet and peaceful. Great place to unplug. Communication with Meagan was great, she responded immediately with all my questions. The cabin was clean and enjoyed that the cabin kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked with all our needs. Everything was as expected. We recommend if you want to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle check this place out. Hope to be back soon!

Relaxing weekend at the cabin
We enjoyed our weekend at this quaint little cabin. The view from the deck is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the wildlife. The cabin is not far from Winnsboro and we found some great restaurants. The communication with our host was excellent.

The views from the cabin were amazing! We had a very restful stay. We took our 11 year old son and dog. The cabin was super spacious, had everything we needed, and was located right on the water. We loved everything about our stay and would love to go back!

We are seniors and have been married 47 yrs. Our 3 & 4 yr old grandsons stayed with us 1 night of the 7. Everything we needed was here. We thoroughly enjoyed the canoe. Fishing was great. Very quiet, safe and peaceful pond community. The owner communicated with us before and after our stay which was nice. The house itself is older and needs to pretty much be updated all throughout. Futon couch in living room is not comfortable longer than an hour or so on your back, older chairs in house and various walls and items in house “patched up” instead of replaced/repaired. Beds were comfortable although we thought main room would have king bed, but it was a queen. Both air conditioning units produced bad/odd smells when blowing our air and need replacing. If you’re mainly looking at being outside most of the time you’d be fine to rent here…past reviews didn’t warn us. Back yard backs up to pond and deck with large trees that shade the area. Beware of futon…you can slide right out of it! Back yard could be tidied up as well, had tree branches piled up and some chairs etc. random places and junk under house deck area. We aren’t outside/lake people so most likely wouldn’t stay here again unless home was fully renovated. Hope you enjoy your stay if you choose this house.

Quiet, relaxing place to stay
Very quiet, wooded neighborhood. On a dead-end road so no traffic. Sloped property with very little open or level ground. Small, pleasant lake and I did witness fish being caught. Small, older house that is not in the best of shape, but it was very clean and pleasant to stay. Very soft, good master bed and pillows. Fiber internet. Great place to get away from everything for a few days.
