Winter Park Stay
Publié le 21 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Snow's rental property. Snow was very accommodating with my needs. It was comfortable and quiet.
The only advice I would give is if you need to use the washer/dryer while away make sure to let Snow know before you get to property. It is locked in the garage but Snow came out right away to give me access to them so I could use them.Snow answers in a timely manner when I had questions to ask. The home was clean and the temperature was perfect.
I would recommend and I would stay again when I am in town.

Very clean and well equipped.

Nice house, very clean - plumbing issues the whole time
Publié le 15 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is nice, and it was very clean, but the plumbing was not draining the whole time we were there. The host let us use the toilet and shower in a different unit, but we had no toilet or shower that was usable in ours. That is not what I paid for. I understand that problems arise, but this one would have been easily remedied by calling rescue rooter and having the drain line routed out. Instead, her solution was to keep pouring chemicals into the tub and toilet to try to dissolve whatever was clogging the line. This condition continued for the duration of the trip. Unfortunately, due to the plumbing issue I can't give this property a good review.

Hello Fred, sorry for the inconvenience! Our host spent her entire weekends and worked hard to fix the issue and we also offered your guests to stay in guest house for free. The host, Snow, did call several plumbing companies and few plumbing companies were willing to work on weekends but only for a sur-charge fees of $500 and plus diagnosis fees. Our nightly rate is only $119 per night, and we can not afford to pay a over inflated fees since we are a small business. We already lost money and basically provided a free services for the prior family who clogged the toilet and your family. The host finically was able to get a plumbing company to work on the clogs but they could not fix the issue. It was unexpected and we did not know until the prior guests checked out. It was the first time that we could not get it fix right way and it was out our control due to weekends. Please note that we have done nothing wrong but tried hard to make guests happy. But we can not solve problems that are not in our power to fix. Our goal is to make every guest happy, but in reality, it is not every guest follows the house rules and happy no matter how hard we work. Please read our previous reviews that explains how little we charge our guests and how clean and comfortable our homes are. Thanks for staying with us!
