Poor communication with property management

The description of the property documented a fireplace after paying a notice appeared that that the fireplace has been removed. Vacasa refunded us only one hundred dollars. We requested to be refunded one hundred per night. We were never given an answer just a complete run around. Also, there was no laundry detergent. I requested it to be sent. I was then told the washer and dryer is not an amenity so laundry detergent will not be provided. I mentioned that it is noted that you would like us to start a load of laundry at check out to assist the cleaning crew. How can we do this without detergent. We ran out of hot water with only 4 of us. The 2nd floor toilet flushed poorly. We could not play blue rays in DVD/ blue ray player. The biggest disappointment for us was the fireplace.

Enjoyed stay family friendly

We had multiple families staying for the week. It was very accommodating. The 3-bathrooms made getting everyone ready easy. The kitchen/living space upstairs was large enough for everyone at the end of the day to hang out. Nice neighborhood close to store and WP as well as local dining. Shuttle pick up only a few steps for driveway.

Location was great. House was pretty clean. When you rent a house for 10 people it should be equipped for 10 people. We rented the house for 5 days. 2-3 toilet paper and 7 towels wasn’t nearly enough for all of us. I texted and asked for more towels and more toilet paper and the answer was: we give a towel per person (10 people, 7 towels) Not the answer I was waiting for. They did bring us 4 more toilet paper and 4 more towels a day later. The hot water did not last for all of us so I called and two days later (our last night at the house) they called me back. So to conclude: when you rent a house for 10-12 people you really should be prepared the house to accommodate 10-12 people. Don’t let the guests chase you down for essentials. Other than that our vacation was great!!

Good Location, Bad Customer Service

Location is great - quarter-mile from town square with ski rentals, park with kids sledding hill, restaurants and shops. And, it's only a 5 minute drive to the ski resort. The house has 5 rooms with 5 queen beds, with a cornered off area with a pull out bed for a 6th room/bed. So, it was great for our big friends weekend getaway. Unfortunately, the customer service was very bad. This was a Vacasa owned property. I reached out via the VRBO app messages 3 separate times asking about late check-out, trash, and more dishwasher detergent...I never got a reply each time. When I called Vacasa's customer service number the week of to ask about late check out, I waited 15 minutes on hold, spoke to someone who wasn't the homeowner, and didn't get a firm answer...not the typical text-the-homeowner-directly experience I'm used to. Finally, the number they had posted on the fridge for in-town help went to voicemail as well, and I never got a call back. Despite not getting an answer via the app or phone call, I got an email the morning of with a late-checkout offer of 2pm. This was great, and it really made the trip for those of us with young kids. However, they charged +$180 for the extra 4 hours' stay. Again, I've never paid for late check-out at VRBO places or hotels. That, combined with the no response from them, did not settle well. Overall, the place and location is great for large groups of family/friends. Do not expect to get a hold of anyone on your stay, though.

White Christmas in Winter Park!

We rented this property in hopes of a white Christmas with a day of great skiing. The property is very convent to Winter Park Ski Resort and the accommodations were perfect for our family celebration. The property was as described, clean and the check in process was a breeze. I highly recommend this property and would definitely rent it again in the future.
