Winter Park Ski Trip
Posted Jan. 12, 2025 on HomeAwayWas very impressed with how clean the entire space was when we arrived for our stay. The host was amazing and very communicative throughout the stay. Amazing place to stay for a few days while you hit the slopes.

Great location, nice updated condo!

Excellent accommodations
Posted Jul. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayThe condo was everything as advertised. Clean, well-appointed, easy access from covered garage with carts for our luggage. My only slight negative was the television reception. We only tried the tv in the living room . The stations we tried to watch were seriously pixilated so that it was impossible to watch. I'm guessing a quick call to the provider will fix the problem . Otherwise, it was a terrific stay.

Perfect

Very Clean

Great location, needs a few things
Posted Feb. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayThe good: The unit is in the perfect spot for skiing. Walk one floor down stairs and at the ski bridge. Convenience of rentals great! Def recommend if skiing. The laundry and pool and work out area great! Just enough room for two adults and two teenagers.
The needs improvement: Nothing to cook on in oven. Only one Pyrex dish that was appropriate for an oven. Need a baking sheet at minimum. Coffee table was in disarray and broke to pieces. Toilet paper holder in master would not stay on wall.
The bad: Nothing really with the unit itself. The property advertised a restaurant. None to be found. Nothing in walking distance. Winter Park has only public transportation. And very unfriendly at that. Took over 3 hours to get groceries with multiple bus changes. We luckily found the one Uber driver on day three and adopted him. Thank the lord! I have no idea how people could spend so much to ski and no infrastructure to support eating out, groceries, etc.
So in general, skiing was great. I’d rather go Steamboat instead. Probably will not be back to Winter Park unfortunately.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay. We appreciate your detailed comments about the positive aspects of the unit and also the areas that need improvement. It's great to hear that the location and amenities such as laundry, pool, and workout area were convenient for your skiing trip. We apologize for the inconvenience you faced with the lack of cooking equipment, the broken coffee table, and the issues with the toilet paper holder. Unfortunately, the previous guest must have been rough on the table, and a new one has been ordered (arrive February 20th 2024) It will be brought to the condo as soon as it arrive at our office in Fraser. Pan for the oven will be brought to the condo today, and maintenance will at same time look at the toilet paper holder.
Regarding the challenge you faced with transportation and the absence of a nearby restaurant, we understand the impact it had on your overall experience. Unfortunately, it is not something that is within our control, and while feedback can be passed along - I highly doubt it will have any impact. A lot of guests visits Winter Park each year, and this will be the first time I have heard of anyone spending 3 hours going 8-9 miles to the grocery store...and back again.
While we understand your decision not to return to Winter Park, we appreciate your feedback. Hope you - despite it all - had a good ski trip.

Great Location - Smaller that the pictures portrayed
Posted Jan. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is an older building, and condo is small. Much smaller than what it looked like in the pictures. To the plus side, everything worked, the property manager was attentive and the location as a ski in ski out place was very good.
