Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayTHIS HOUSE USES WELL WATER. IF THE WELL RUNS DRY...YOU HAVE NO WATER...WHICH IT DID TO US! THIS MEANS NO BATHROOM! THE VIEWS WERE OCCULDED BY TREES, CUT SOME DOWN. ONLY ONE HAIR DRYER FOR 3 BEDROOMS. ONE LIGHT SWITCH WAS EXTREMELY HOT.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGORGEOUS house and view! Very spacious and accommodating. Things you should know before booking is that it is about an hour away from anything and everything. House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. One of the showers did not work and some of the fans that were provided did not either. I think its a tad over priced for its distance to do things but the views from the deck were amazing.

Beautiful views. House was very nice but had some trouble trying to unlock the door.
Had on the site there was a beach. Where’s the beach? I didn’t see any beach. There were just large boulders.

Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was absolutely beautiful and very well supplied with kitchen supplies, as well as towels, etc. The issue was getting into the property. door did not work. We got into the house through the garage, which was left unlocked The water was not hot. taking a shower was lukewarm at best. the doors were extremely difficult to open. There were two sets of instructions for leaving, one was on your site. The other was printed out and left at the property. You need to have just one set of instructions that agree. Fabulous property, however it needs more outdoor seating. it sleeps 10 however, they were only 4 chairs on the deck. The views were awesome, very quiet and peaceful.

Vacation in Westport
Publié le 24 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe views from the house were spectacular! However, we were without hot water for 2 days. The property mgmt team was lax in getting this problem rectified. In addition, it was mentioned the pinball machines, elliptical and treadmill didn't work and there were issues with some of the lights flikering or not working at all. These problems weren't addressed while we were vacationing at the house.

Needs some upgrades, nothing bad
Publié le 28 août 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat views. House pretty clean & supplies were fine except only 3 coffee cups for 6 adults. VACasa said they would get more cups. They failed, never received. Some lights didn't work & lots of dead bugs in light fixtures.

Nice views, quiet, otherwise lousy
Publié le 24 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe views were beautiful and it was a quiet place to relax, but we were otherwise disappointed with our stay. The property was not well maintained. We encountered two roaches. There were numerous ants in the master bathroom. Two of the toilet paper holders had fallen off the walls and had not been replaced. Only one light in the kitchen worked (a known maintenance problem that was not disclosed to us before our arrival) and the non-functioning lights were not repaired while we were there. Two light fixtures could not be turned all the way off and were constantly on dim. The two exercise machines downstairs could not be used because any use resulted in the electrical circuit tripping. Many windows were not operable or labeled as do not open.

Mid-Coast Maine Getaway
Publié le 18 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property in Westport was wonderful. Located right on a large river connecting to the ocean. Lots to see from the wraparound deck looking out over the water.
The home was spacious and well-appointed. Kitchen had everything we needed as well as high end appliances.
A nice unusual feature was two vintage pinball machines in the lower level of the home.
We would definitely rebook this property if we travel to the Boothbay Harbor/Wiscasset area again.
