Studio très bien situé dans Wiscasset
Publié le 1 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayNous avons été beaucoup surpris par la ville de Wiscasset et le studio est situé en plain cœur de la ville à quelques minutes de marche de tout les attractions. Très bon restaurants et magasin.
Ce qui nous a déranger par contre c'est le niveau de propreté de l'appartement. Il y avait de la poussière partout et des araignées avec leur toiles dans plusieurs coins.

Quant and cozy
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect spot and perfect size for my husband and I to stay to help with my son's wedding. Close to everything downtown and only 2 miles from wedding venue. No noise even though there was another place above us. Had induction cooktop whic was easy to use to cook breakfast. Ample size bathroom, bed was comfy. It had a small fan but recommend an AC unit for those sunny hot days. It's Oct so to be fair, they may have had one and taken it out. But it was very humid for this time of year and had to leave the door open at night with no screen.. These were the cleanliness issues, mold on the bottom of the plastic shower curtain. I move the night stand to use for the fan and it was full of cobwebs and we did the dishes and found the drying mat under the sink was either moldy or dirty. The only other issue was the coffee maker did not work right on the 3rd morning. But these things would not deter me from renting again, but may affect others so want to let the owners know, so they can be attended to for the next guests.

Very Basic
Publié le 3 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayPluses. Location was great not only to explore a quaint little town but to drive up and down the coast. Plenty of food choices nearby.
Minuses. Insufficient bed linens and towels for a 10 day stay. We had to go to the laundromat midweek. The lock on the front door has a mind of its own. Sometimes you had to put the code in multiple times before it responded. Not a happy experience at 12:30 am when you have been on the road since 5 am the day before. Don’t plan on cooking a full meal here but if you are heating up restaurant leftovers like we did, there is a nice microwave and oven/air fryer combo. Mama was not a happy camper to discover there was a coffee maker and filters but NO COFFEE when awakening after a day of marathon travel. Had to go to the store and buy a bag of coffee. Furniture is cute but wicker and not made for large people. Might want to consider at least one chair that doesn’t creak when a large person sits in it. Except for the above, it was clean and adequate. Definitely no frills.

Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside for morning coffee and looking at the water. The location was great. The only upgrade we would like to see is a pot large enough to cook lobsters! We'll go back anytime we get the chance.

Travelers with limited mobility will have difficulty negotiating the petite bathroom. Must climb up, at least 6 inches or more, to get in and out of the shower without grab bars. Commode is low. Remaining studio is an open plan. Kitchenette is well done and adequately stocked.

Peaceful Getaway
Publié le 23 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the location of Wiscasset very much. We traveled as south as Portland and as north as Belfast and all over in-between.
The room was just as pictured on the website. The parking was four feet from our door. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen met all our needs. I would stay here again.
Anything need improving----Yes----the shower curtain had heavy mold on the bottom of it. Allowing one towel/wash cloth per person for a five night stay is not enough. Bring your own Kleenex. There is none in the room.
Overall for the price it is a good deal.

Nice place in a quiet village
Publié le 7 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThe room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk over and get lobster and clams at Sprague’s which was excellent! (The line was always too long at Red’s Eats.) Our only complaint was that the internet connection was flakey.
