Perfectly balanced rustic comfort

Communication prior to visit after booking was quick and helpful and being met at check in to see how everything operates (rustic toilet and fireplace) was just great! On property trails let us stretch our legs after the long drive and then there was a lovely surprise by the campfire outside!
Beds were comfy, even when the fire went out in the middle of the night it didn’t get too cool, however in winter months we would’ve thrown another log in before bed and it would’ve been fine. Being 7mo pregnant I had to use the restroom in the middle of the night, and was wondering how that would go since it wasn’t in cabin- and no problem! Flashlights plus a light on the porch and in the bathroom made it easy. We will definitely be back and can’t wait!

Awesome experience!

A cross between camping out and a cabin, the wood stove keeps the place nice and warm, the animals are friendly and the hosts are wonderful. Highly recommend as a place to get off the grid and relax.

Dustin was very nice made every effort to insure our stay was pleasant. The wood stove was awesome and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed doing a walk on the Nez Pierce trail located right above the main house. We look forward to a summer visit.

Much needed adventure

Provided a great stay awesome hospitality definitely will go back highly recommend it to anybody looking for a great remote adventure!!

We stayed in our own cozy cabin on Dustin's property. The wood-burning stove was perfect to create a warm, comfortable space to come back to after a day of skiing at Lost Trail. Dustin was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It was a great place to go to get away to for the weekend. The perfect reset from our busy lives. My only wish is that we could have stayed another night!

Last minute change
Publié le 12 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayUnfortunately, after spending all day trying to reach the property owner, we were notified that the cabin has no working bathroom a couple hours before check in. We had to make alternative arrangements last minute, and were not offered any kind of refund even though we didn’t even stay there.

First off it is SAD to have lies for a Review, it is clearly marked in the description that we have nice heated working bathroom and shower 50 ft from the cabin, and we were waiting up till midnight for you to show up we kept your room warm by keeping wood in it awaiting your arrival ,we waited up until midnight for you, then you did not call until the next morning, and you then said, that you decided to stay with relatives, and we did give you a refund , so your response and wrongful replies are lies and you are doing no justice to our place, I have all the descriptions on website in a rustic remote cabin which we are located in a beautiful secluded rustic mountain area
