But none matched Nottingham Place … it’s beauty, comfort and remarkable hospitality shown by Ben and Kim. We’re already planning a return trip and the Nottingham is at the top of our list.

Amazing property!

Comfortable room, tons of snacks/drinks and all the comforts of home. The house also has several friendly cats that were a joy to meet!! Would rec this property to anybody seeking a quiet rejuvenating place to stay!!!

This is such a lovely place. It is both comfortable and elegant. The thoughtful additions are above expectations from robes, snacks and restroom amenities. My hosts have been so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Nottingham Place!

I grew up in Wise and this part of town has became lovely. The home itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the attention to details and things like snacks and toiletries. Hosts thought of everything. Much nicer than standard hotel

Luxuriant and peaceful
Publié le 27 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayWhat would you want to do after a day of hiking, exploring, working or researching? Come home to a relaxing and peaceful place, of course! My hosts offered exactly that. Just opening the door after I had passed through the lovely foyer overlooking a majestic staircase , I was greeted with an “ahhhh!” View of the turret room. High ceilings accented by a fan and high windows covered in pretty sheer coverings, luxuriant linens and pillows. Bathroom is in the hall but your own private bath and that hot shower you want after your day out.
This is a perfect home base for you after a day of exploring Wise county. Also, I could absolutely see a wedding party staying here, it is a perfect backdrop for pictures as well as a beautiful home to relax in.
I will definitely be back, thank you my hosts!

The home has a lot of character and is in wonderful condition. Bath was very thoughtfully provisioned, as well as the snack/hospitality area. The owners are wonderful, kind people--I highly recommend it, and will be back!
