The hotel is very short walk to the beach entrance which makes it super convenient for a beach holiday. Also not too far a walk from a few restaurants, bars and cafes that are quite good. And the staff all seemed lovely and friendly. But there is no sound proofing at all and both mornings, kids running down the hall yelling woke us up early. Probably not an issue for everyone but we had planned for a relaxing trip including sleepins and that was ruined. When in our room we could also hear a different kid having a tantrum in their room and another person walking around quite alot. Overall I'd possibly stay there again because of location but it would depend on price and wouldn't be for any romance.

The hotel was easy to locate, and the facilities were generally pleasant. However, parking came at an additional cost of $25 per night, a detail not disclosed until check-in. The only alternative was unsecured public parking across the road, which wasn’t ideal for Christmas travellers. Dining options were excellent, with the bar offering food and drinks from 4 pm. The bar staff were welcoming and provided great service. Breakfast was generous, featuring a wide variety of choices. Made-to-order hot breakfasts were a delightful touch, especially for those accustomed to standard hotel offerings. The only downside was the check-in experience. While I understand the front office team may have had a demanding day, and the family ahead of us presented challenges, the welcome felt less than warm. It left me feeling more like an inconvenience than a guest. That said, if you can overlook a less-than-ideal first impression, the rest of the hotel experience more than compensates.

Don’t stay here
Unable to get the room serviced or fresh towels in 4 day stay despite leaving clean my room on the door handle. Very tired wake and carpet heavily scuffed and marked, tiles dirty and fixtures broken. Smelly. Expensive and all you are paying for is location.

The room was a good size and comfortable. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The WIFI was quite fast, much better tham most hotels. the biggest negative was the shortage of PowerPoints. given that we both had phones and tablets to charge and electric toothbrushes, this was particularly irksome. I would recommend staying here but pack a couple of power boards for your convenience.
