Stunning spot. Shame about the loud music
Publié le 9 mai 2023 sur Hotelsstunning location, great amenities. Good communication and easy access. Experience spoiled by loud dance music being player nearby until 4am. I was expecting to leave the property completely rested. Sadly that wasn't the case.

Thanks for the great review of our place Jessica. Sadly you came on the only night our new neighbours (not our other guests) decided to have a dance party (over one kilometre away!). We have never met them and did not have a phone number for them, although I doubt they could answer at that stage! I'm afraid it was just one of those things out of our control, which doesn't help your lack of sleep, I know.Kind regards,Nick

The Tree Tops was the perfect romantic escape to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Watching the sunset and stars from our private spa was magical. We left feeling like we had been away on a weeks holiday after two days away Nick was very helpful. We would also highly recommend lunch at The Crooked River Winery.

Hi Annette, we're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your time here for your anniversary. Yes, it's very special over at Treetops in the spa at night. We know your review about Crooked River Winery was more for other guests... but it had been a while since we'd been, so we took you up on your recommendation too, and went in June ourselves - we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch there with extended family. Absolutely beautiful position in the rainforest- we saw a lyrebird preening & strutting on a tree branch out the front- accommodation was excellent & the owners were very friendly & helpful- can’t wait to go back- Lyn

Beautiful accommodation set among very picturesque landscape. We stayed at the Rainforest lodge and it was just amazing! Complimentary bottle of wine on arrival and kangaroos right outside our balcony. Short drive to Berry, Shoalhaven Heads and Gerringong. Definitely the best accommodation in the region. Thank you.

Could have been much better

2nd night not acceptable - Sewer gas from the septic filled the chalet overnight. Opened windows to clear the smell and froze our butts off. Heating wasn't working, and reverse cycle aircond not listed as such, so a bit of a comedy of errors.
Owner offered a discount on a future visit, but we are not going again. Didn't seem to realise the incident was their fault.

Our sincere apologies for the issue with the toilet on your second night. As we said in our text messages and on email after your departure: "We are truly sorry for the horrible smell on Saturday night, it’s totally unacceptable. In our 3 years running the property we’ve never had this issue in any of the 3 lodges or my house (which has the exact same plumbing system, so it’s totally unprecedented). Our plumber is visiting tomorrow to investigate how it could have happened. As obviously it’s just not good enough (and it’s disgusting!). Thanks for doing some troubleshooting and realising it was the S bend in the toilet and filling the vacuum with water. Thanks again for the feedback, and suggestions – we’ll do everything we can to stop this series of issues happening ever again."
As you can see from our reply above, we totally realise that the incident is our responsibility, and with the help of the plumber last week, we have solved the problem. Our apologies if you were offended by the suggestion of a discount on a future stay, at the time we thought you'd had a good time here, please contact us via email or phone if you'd like a refund for your second night.

My husband and I stayed at the Treetop Lodge for two nights during our visit to Berry. I can’t recommend high enough for this property as it ticked all the boxes. It’s not far from town but is very quiet and private. I use earplugs every night as I am a very light sleeper but I don’t need to use any while we stayed here! The lodge is very modern, spacious and has a full kitchen plus outdoor bbq. It also has a gas fireplace although we haven’t used it because it’s summer. The owners are very friendly and look after their place really well. There are three other cottages on the property and they are all at a considerable distance to each other so you don’t have to worry about your privacy. Make sure you book well in advance as they are very popular. This will be our choice of accommodation whenever we come this way.
