Très bel hôtel, des plus charmants, dans un immeuble construit en 1535. Excellent service, personnel à l’écoute, excellents petits déjeuners , très bel endroit. Seul bémol: il n’y a pas de climatisation. Nous y sommes allés en pleine canicule… Ils avaient mis des ventilateurs à notre disposition et nous ont même offert gracieusement de l’eau fraîche, mais il faisait chaud.
Quant au reste, tout était parfait!

Breakfast was fabulous but the room was very noisy and hot. There was a small fan in the room which helped. William (room name) was right by the busy road. People outside, below our window, were laughing and revving car engines late at night. There is a dangerous high step up to the bathroom, which was very tiny, as was the shower cubical. The dinner was quite poor. The beef roast was tuff and unappetising. The staff were all lovely! The location is excellent if visiting Blenheim Palace and for a one night stay.

Nice hotel, very clean, staff were helpful. Advance check in is advised as makes access and accessing room a lot quicker. Pub at front of building is good. Found parking right outside but remember to get ticket to avoid parking fine as apparently they are hot on that. Breakfast starters and options was good. We didn’t enjoy the eggs Benedict but that might be us and not the food we received. Service was very good so no complaints there. Absolutely perfect for walking to Blenheim Palace.

Lovely Pub/Inn in the heart of Woodstock

It was a great choice, clean and friendly and wonderfully close to the Palace - we could walk to the gig and back. There was much to like about the Pub but the cost for the room was high. That and the fact the bed was rather hard were the only negatives we experienced and we would stay there again. Breakfast was great.
