Great location

Looks Are Deceiving

Thanks so much for the positive review. As I mentioned you can have 1 free night next time you come. Everything is back to normal here, took a week for the sediment stirred up by firing up the original well to go away. Hope you are well.

great place! Loved it.
Publié le 6 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayAwesome cabin in the woods. Quite and peaceful but still close to town. Great fire pit and wood burning stove in the house. Owner was very nice and gave us lots of recommendations on things to do. Perfect stay.

Back to nature
Publié le 28 août 2019 sur HomeAwayThis is a cabin in the woods in the truest sense, but I would not call our weekend roughing it. The house was absolutely charming (and yes, quirky) and we had everything we could have possibly needed right at our fingertips. Thirza is a most gracious host. From the moment she greeted us, showed us around the house, gave us quite a few insider tips on where to go and what to do in the area, she was a pleasure to deal with (or just chat with). We enjoyed our "quiet" (plenty of sounds of nature) evenings on the porch with a few nibbles and glass of wine picked up at a store nearby. You feel like you are in a very remote area, but really, a trip to the town takes only about 10 minutes.
We would definitely come back.
