Lovely hotel, service could be better
Publié le 11 mai 2024 sur HotelsThe only thing that stopped us from giving 5 stars was the service in the restaurant for dinner. We had to ask on more than one occasion for our bread and wine, we had to wait 40 mins for our coffee. The waiters and waitresses were very nice but were overwhelmed by the number of diners.
When we checked out the service charge had already been removed from our bill.

We have been a few times to Stanbrook Abbey with our two dogs, the staff are amazing especially the bar staff. We always have an enjoyable and relaxing time and the dogs love it!

The hotel is stunning. The staff are wonderful and the whole hotel is a little bit of luxury. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and it is also freshly prepared. We loved how quiet it was- there was a NYE event the evening we stayed, but you couldn’t hear a thing from our room which was exactly what we wanted. We can’t wait to stay again and would love to visit again in the summer and next NYE!

Publié le 28 déc. 2023 sur HotelsUpon arrival we were greeted by a lovely member of staff who took us straight to the reception and got us checked in and then took us straight to our room which they had given us a free upgrade which was out of this world about half hour later reception rang up the room to ensure that everything was good with the room we also booked for dinner which was out of this world I cannot recommend the hotel enough We will definitely be returning great work and excellent customer service
