Beautiful country house
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room.
The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!).

Great space for a girls group

Lovely rural escape
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect location for a quick jaunt from Manchester. The village was nice with a few shops for essentials & short drive to supermarkets for a bigger shop.
The property was really quirky & homely, our group of 11 had more than enough space to not be on top of each other but also gather as a group for dinner & evenings.

Great to share meals (prepared in the lovely spacious kitchen) around the long dining room table - made us feel like nobility. So many rooms - that we often 'lost' the kids. Weather was great so we were able to walk down to the river and go swimming. So close to the village and playground - but secluded and set back from the road.

Fabulous stay with stunning views
Publié le 11 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home. The host was extremely helpful and gave us access to the local tennis courts which were really fun. The actual house itself is even better than the photos in set in amazing grounds with beautiful views. We also loved walking down to the river.
