Family Fun!
Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat house with everything you need for a large group gathering. We had 18 people staying at the house and ended up having a few guests visit for a BBQ. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and homey. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was great and had every tool we could have needed and had plenty of kids plates and cups which is rare in rentals! The outdoor space was lovely and well maintained. The owner was very responsive before, during, and after the trip and has been helpful with getting us an item we left behind in the house. Had a few issues that were no fault of the owners, and the owner was very helpful in resolving the issues. Would return to this house and recommend it to anyone!

Family get away
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse was very large in addition to the outdoor space. Very nice decor and furnishings. Only challenges were the gas grill would not heat properly and it was difficult to change the temperature in the basement. The lower level bedrooms needed a lot of blankets. Other than that it was all great. We would return to this rental.

Our 2nd stay…even better than the first!
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayLast summer’s stay was amazing! Afterward, I shared a few suggestions with Bryan for the kitchen to better accommodate large families like ours. Every single suggestion I made was completed before we arrived for our 2nd stay…and more! We so appreciate all the extras added, in particular the lawn chairs and canopy tent, the ping pong table, and large tv in the basement! It's hard to find a home large enough to accommodate our large family, but this one is perfect! We hope to come back next year.

Beautiful but not very clean
Publié le 23 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe inside was ok, but the patio, deck, and gas grill were very dirty. It honestly looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was dried food stuck on the patio table. Everything was covered with a layer of dust. I took a broom and rag and cleaned the best I could but I did not pull the weeds from the landscaping. My grandson cleaned the gas grill. A couple of hours later we could use the outside. The facing on the bath tub kept falling off. There were only 4 washcloths and we were 12 people. There were two dish towels and no dish clothes. I reached my daughter before she left and she brought some. We really enjoyed the beautiful home and would love to do it again but will have to reconsider renting this home again. Sorry.

That "layer" of dust on the patio and deck is pollen. Missouri is AWFUL in the spring/summer and our cleaners spray it off every single time they clean. Unfortunately, even just their cars being on the driveway for the 4 hours they take to clean the property are covered in dander/pollen when they leave. The property is in part of woods. The facing on the jacuzzi tub coming off is new to us and we have never heard anything about this, since you have mentioned it.
This house is completely stocked with extra towels, blankets, pillows (this property sleeps 18 people and it has plenty of everything for every single guest.)... even extra decor still in boxes just in case we have broken items.
We would never, ever expect a guest to pull weeds. Not sure where or why that even came about.
I'm sorry that you review our property this way....as before your review we had a 5 star review and we are superhosts and have been for over 5 years.
This is a second home for us and yes, sometimes things do go wrong when you own a home. Especially when you rent it out to so many families to enjoy your home while you're not there.

Spacious Home

The many bedrooms accommodated our group and having a table that seats 10 for all to have meals at together was wonderful.
The communication with the property owner/manager was good. Bryan was very responsive prior to and during our stay.
Truly enjoyed our stay.

Great girls weekend location.
