Looking for an economical and pet friendly vacation spot on Wrightsville Beach? Here it is!

“Craft Upper” is a classic Wrightsville Beach 1940’s style top floor unit within a duplex. In a great location, positioned just across the street from the Oceanic Restaurant, Crystal Pier, and is only steps to the nearby public beach and sound accesses. The covered front porch is perfect for people watching, outdoor dining, or relaxing while taking in the salt air.

This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit is all about spending quality time with family at the beach. Despite the traditional configuration of the home, the living room, dining area, and kitchen offer plenty of space for families to spread out while keeping everyone together with a somewhat open concept. This home has everything you need for a beach getaway without all the frills and unnecessary clutter.

The kitchen is functional and well equipped for preparing meals but there is not a dishwasher included among the appliances provided. A side door off the kitchen gives easy access to the outdoor deck and living space. The kitchen and dining area are combined, making for a wonderful gathering space to share home cooked meals that has helped families reconnect and make memories for generations.

The primary bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed, large closet, and private bathroom. There is another guest room with a full bed that shares the hall bathroom with the twin bedroom. The hall bathroom has a stackable washer and dryer for added convenience.

For larger family gatherings, rent the W154 “Craft Lower” unit which is directly below for a total of 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - contact Bryant directly for details.

Pet Policy: Dogs welcome with a nonrefundable fee that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.
Prohibited: Smoking, Use of Fireplace, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Great Family Beach getaway
This property was spacious and clean — I could smell bleach cleaner when I first opened the door. The paint and floors could use a little freshening up but the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. We had an issue with the washing machine during our stay and Bryant responded quickly to get it resolved

Though the closeness to the beach was real good, we thought the house was in need of some upkeep and repair (ceiling in living room is peeling off, strong moldy smell and pretty much everything needs some paint). No mention that there is no dishwasher.

This property is well located by Wrightsville’s south end surfing community by the Oceanic restaurant and pier. However, the unit needs some major renovations. And while the layout and room sizes are great, it’s hard to get by all the things that need fixing or replacing. No cleaning supplies or trash bags provided? Poorly stocked kitchen. Furniture is well worn and stained. Bed comfort: fair. Great place if you want to be close to the beach and good waves. Not so much for a family vacation.

Generally, the unit is very dated and could use some much needed updates. The fenced in area for dogs looked much bigger in the picture than actual. Plus fence not safe and pets could easily get out. Would not recommend this unit at all

2 day beach stay
House was ok, better on the outside than inside and it was close to the ocean and oceanic restaurant. The inside of the house was roomy but I could tell there had been previous Pets in the residence due to the cleanliness of the rugs. They were stained so we rolled them all up for our stay until we left. For the location I expected a little more. Did not like that we had to make our own beds when we arrived either. Not really a thing I wanted to do on a vacation. Also never got our email letting us know our itinerary, so when we arrived we didnt have passcode, couldnt get anyone to answer our calls to get help, luckily the information was in past emails so we could get in. Love the area but will not be going back to this vrbo. Thanks.

The unit was clean & spacious although the A/C vents were black. There was concern that it could have been mold. Limited parking for the unit. During our stay, someone was moving into the downstairs unit. His moving van & vehicle occupied 3 of the 4 parking spaces. Location is great being close to the beach. The road was a little busy and getting in & out was challenging.

The property looked good on the internet. The house needs major work. Rugs need to be replaced and blinds. Needs updated appliances. Need new TVs and updated service. The rent is way to high for what you get.

Great location but house needs some updates
My teen daughter and I had a great week in Wrightsville. The location of this property is amazing. However, the house definitely needs some upgrades -- and we're not talking about a lot of money. Simple things like, a refrigerator that is not rusty, memory foam bed toppers, shampoo'd rugs, black out curtains for the bedrooms. The house is old and that's ok but the house could be better taken care of. If this owner is ever looking to sell, look me up!

I loved this house! But this house needs some love.
Loved The layout. Big, spacious rooms. baby blue and white colors. A/C worked great! Driveway is enough for 2 cars. Only one flight of stairs. The porch rocking chairs and table. Lots of trash cans, all w/trash bags despite threats to bring my own trash bags. (I needed one trash bag for the week) Lots of hangers in the closets despite their repeated insistence that I must bring my own hangers! There was dish detergent despite being told there would be none . Big kitchen sink w/view of the ocean. But: Buckled/wavy front porch is an accident waiting to happen. Outside of house needs to be painted. House has a moldy smell. Kitchen door is funky/stuck. Screen door doesn’t close properly and slats on door falling off. Towel bar on the back of the 2nd bathroom door doesn’t hold weight. Screw holes are too big. Air vents need to be dusted. Windows are painted shut. Safety issue and it was nice out. Blinds don’t all work. Lights from other houses is blinding at night. Shower heads both need to be replaced!! They are disgusting! The master bathroom shower faucet is broken so that it just spins. Hard to guess where it should be for hot water. Water flow is pathetic. The bath tub doesn’t drain fast enough so by the time you are done with a short shower, the water in the tub with that nasty mat is up to your ankles. The bath mat in the tub! YUCK! I hated putting my feet on it. Should be the kind that comes out and gets cleaned. No lock box or code on the unit. Had to pick up/drop off the key at the other end of the island. Also, I’d like to warn other VRBO users that as soon as you reserve this house through VRBO and click “confirmed”/pay your money, you are immediately transferred to Bryant Real Estate and forced to sign another 16 page contract where you must give the names/ages of each occupant. And are STRONGLY encouraged to pay for the extra insurance. Suddenly things that were always considered standard to me at other VRBO properties were not so standard. Sheets! Would I like to pay extra to have sheets and even more if I wanted the bed made. I was warned several times that I would not have any trash bags, paper towels and would be rationed one roll of the cheapest toilet paper they could find. If I wanted Kleenex, paper towels, more toilet paper, a blanket, hangers or towels - bring it with me (on my flight from Washington state)

Simple pet friendly place steps from the beach
This house was just right! Simple beach house with a great location. Very close to Oceanic and the Crystal Pier ( you can see it from the kitchen window). The kitchen had all the things needed to cook most meals and there is a nice table and chairs on the deck if you prefer to eat outside. The Coffee shop and surf shop are a stones throw away and we’re great places to grab a coffee or smoothie and rent bikes or set up a surf lesson. Beds were decent but note that the 3rd bedroom has a full size bed, not a queen. It is on a main road which had a lot of traffic at certain times of the day and weekend nights there was street noise in the early AM ( we used a sound machine which cancelled out most of the noise at night). Not fancy but very comfortable place to bring your dog with you for a beach getaway!
