Family reunion

Was perfect for two families. Great sofa, the breeze in the morning was amazing this time of year.The kitchen is spectacular, great for 2 moms cooking.

Hard Pass

Let this be a warning that the property photos don’t represent the current condition of the home, which is exceptionally tired. Features & furnishings are broken, missing, torn, and/or dirty. On the upside, the location is fantastic, and for those traveling with a large group, the home was big enough, so it never seemed crowded. The pool was definitely a bonus. The following is a list of some of what we experienced. 1. The next-door neighbor is awful. On Saturday at 12:30 PM my guests, and I were enjoying the swimming pool. The neighbor continuously yelled profanity and kept screaming that this was “a neighborhood, not a party.” 2. Ants are a huge problem, and I don’t mean just a couple ants. Thousands of ants were in the sink, counters, and around the refrigerator. I even had ants crawling on me while sitting on the family room couch. 3. Upon arrival, none of the four TVs worked. Maintenance came and was able to get two of them working. BTW, the maintenance workers are fantastic! Huge shout out to David & Jason who quickly responded to all the repairs needed during our stay. 4. Nearly every piece of furniture was dirty, torn, or broken, and I’m not even exaggerating. 5. The carpet is stained beyond repair. 6. Some pots, pans and cooking utensils were missing. 7. There’s more, but I think you get it …

Updated 2024: As of April 2024, this home has new flooring throughout, as well as all new outdoor furniture on decks and the pool area. Photos of the home were updated in March 2024. Robyn, thank you for the feedback. We hate that your experience with us was less than ideal, and by the time we are seeing this review someone from our leadership team has already reached out to you about these issues. We are working with the property owner to provide some updates to the furnishings of this home during the off-season, as furniture, etc. can get worn fairly quickly in a home that holds this many people. We are so glad to hear the kind words about David & Jason, we agree! Our maintenance team is pretty fantastic! Again, thank you for the feedback.

Cheap and Shoddy

Several balcony door locks broken or missing, Ice maker broken, one role of low quality TP per bathroom, No extra trash bags, floors were dirty, second hand repurposed furniture with rips and tears, no first aid kit, 14 page contract to fill out and send back, rigid rules with severe penalties ($300 for missing garage door opener) for check-in and check out. Really doesn't sleep as many as the website claims comfortably. We were going for a memorial service and I stated as much in the initial VRBO correspondence....but kept getting "Enjoy your Vacation!" emails. Email from property manager stated we need parking passes then I was told we didn't need parking passes at the office? I wanted a place where the family could gather and mourn without having to worry about insignificant things....however the tone set by the property manager's automatic emails and materials made everyone feel unwelcome and uneasy. In the beginning of the process, I chatted with a VRBO tech about the ridiculous contract and she was no help.

New Year’s Stay

Great property for a large group! Close to restaurants, bars and golf! Short walk to the beach!

Perfect house and location

We rented this house for mostly family and a few close friends of our wedding party. Very spacious with a lot of places for people to hang out. Walking distance to the beach, views of the beach and bay from balconies, 3 min drive off the island. We didn’t use the pool but would be a great touch for a summer stay. Highly recommended for large groups!

Not worth the money

The rental process for this property did not end with the “confirmed booking” on this app. You will go through correspondence with a separate rental agency that makes you sign several pages of policies. No groups of any kind besides immediate family, which is pretty crazy for a house that sleeps 23 people. Very odd that not even church groups were allowed. The way money was spent in this house made no sense to any of us. White rugs and white cushions showed stains everywhere. Coffee maker was broken. Porch screen ripped and completely broken table outside. The exterior of the front of house is the most appealing part. Poor landscaping in the back leads to a very dirty deck and furniture near the pool. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone and do not plan to stay here again. The house had tons of potential but it was not put to use.

Hi Nicole, thank you for your review and feedback. Like most rental management companies, we list our properties on VRBO, and our involvement is transparently stated on the listing, "Managed by Bryant Real Estate". While there may be exceptions made, we typically do not rent to groups unrelated and under the average age of 30 - this policy is mandated to protect the homeowner's investment and ensure the property does not attract party groups or other events. Groups can make a request in writing for pre-approval with management for special situations. This is listed on your signed contract, and can be found on our website under "Rental Policies" for reference. I am sorry the white carpets were not your taste - but please know, they are regularly carpet cleaned throughout the year to keep them sanitized, even if permanent staining is still visible. (The unit was carpet cleaned just a month and a half prior to your arrival, and we also scheduled another clean at the end of September for normal maintenance). We don't have any reports of the Keurig being broken during your stay, but I see a brand new coffee maker was added in addition to the Keurig after your stay. The housekeepers clean the decks and pool area including wiping off pool furniture on each clean, but I will see about scheduling regular landscaping to promote a more enjoyable outdoor experience for future guests, although we have not had any other complaints.
