The property was well equipped, fantastic view and overall a very enjoyable stay. Unfortunately the cleanliness let it down, BBQ, oven dirty and two of three showers blocked

Nice home Beautiful views Perfect for dogs Can’t really go for a local walk from house as road to steep Bbq not nice and clean so didn’t use. Overall a nice stay

Excellent location and property but for price missing a few details

It’s a beautiful property in an amazing location. We were surprised to turn up at 5pm and the house was freezing cold. There is AC in the living room but not in the bedrooms which have a wall heater. We had to take blankets from the other beds to stay warm enough. It was obvious the property had been surface cleaned only. The master bathroom shower stall had pink mould in the tile grouting and around the drain which was quite disgusting. There was also no functioning TV. The internet needed resetting and the router was locked away so we couldn’t reset it. Even normal tv couldn’t be watched due to terrible reception. We tried to contact the office but they are closed on the weekend. Great property but overpriced given the lack of attention to detail.

Avoidable inconveniences

Our family were staying in this house for a close family wedding. This was made clear from the time of booking. I contacted the manager 3 separate times in lead up to the wedding to ask for early check-in. Each time we were asked to make contact closer to the booking. The final contact was made 2 days before the wedding and we still weren't provided a clear answer regarding early check in. There wasn't even confirmation the morning of the morning. As a result the family had to make last minute arrangements to get ready - this included the bride, bridesmaid and the grooms family. My sister had to dress her 3 young children in a car park and enter the property for the first time in pitch black, without the use of the garage (the remote wasn't working despite specifically asking for use of the garage previously). The house was great but due to the extreme inconvenience of communication we won't be staying at this property again. Of all family and friends that stayed in accommodation for this weekend - we were the only property not granted early check in. I sincerely hope the property manager considers greater care and communication with future guests.

Our check-in time is 3pm onward in order to prepare the property for your stay on the day of your arrival, this was communicated to you numerous times. If you required access to the property to prepare yourselves for a wedding you could have considered booking the night before to allow the time necessary for you & your family to check-in as early as possible. An earlier check-in time is not always guaranteed. The garage is accessible for our guests, had this been communicated to us with a phone call, email or message via this platform we would have resolved this for you. Great place in Wye

Our family love Wye river and this was a great home to accomodate us all! Great size house. Host was lovely and fast with any questions we had. Super hard hill to walk up from the beach/pub! But we still loved the work out. Thank you

Disappointing

Property was nice but not worth the money On arrival we had to clean out fireplace as it was full of soot. Had to go out and collect kindling. And cart wood up 2 flights stairs T.v was unwatchable. No reception, BBQ was filthy. The shower floor had mold. Soiled linen. Rubbish left under furniture had trouble with remotes as batteries were flat. Overall a nice property but some serious problems with management

Building & location are good but some basics missing

The property is very nice with lots of space. We a loved the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces. The paved drive way and car parking were excellent. The sensor lights are also excellent. Important but small things let down the stay. The house sleeps 11 people but there were not enough cups and bowls for 11 people or to even fill the dishwasher. It seemed like opshop crockery provided, there was only one mug, four teacups and then about 10 latte type mugs that are hot to hold with a cup of tea. There were about 8 mismatched bowls that looked like oddments some chipped, not enough for a house that can sleep 11 people. This unfortunately gives the lovely house a cheap feel to it. Most people know you can get cheap matching crockery at Kmart for a couple of dollars each. I expected the house to have an iron and ironing board, this is important as such a house is rented for wedding guests. The ensuite basin needed clearing as it would overflow half way through a shave. The balcony has lovely views but a simple cleaning of the cobwebs around the windows would just make the views even more spectacular. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and acted on.
